Syberia 2

Could anyone tell me why I loaded in the game syberia 2 and when it finished loading it
A message comes up telling me to contact the admistrator to run the game
does anyone know why?

I moved your post over to Glitches as you are describing a technical problem.

Are you running this game on Vista? If so, try the following:

Find the shortcut/desktop icon for Syberia 2, right-click on it, select the "Properties" command, then go to the "Compatibility" tab and check the "Run as administrator" check box. Then, hit apply and then exit out.

Now try to run the game.

Yes, I agree with what Marian said. You may need to run as administrator.

I am running it in windows 7 On a Hp laptop

Running as administrator will work the same on Windows 7. The brand doesn't matter. Hope it works for you!

I don't have anything in my Private Messages here??? You really should just ask the questions about Syberia here in this thread so we can keep them all in one place. Are you saying the directions Marian gave you above didn't work for using Administrator to run the game?

And any questions about the font size in the Changing Font Size thread. Are you saying the directions I gave you for changing font size in that thread did not work?

I moved Bluto's questions over to this thread, where we already explained how to run as administrator.

I think part of the problem here is that Bluto's questions get moved to the appropriate thread and then he does not know where they are after that, even though I send him a private message when I do so, explaining where his posts are now located. It is also a good idea to check back within a day or two after posting to check for replies - that can help make it less confusing.

I try to do that because it is confusing to have things scattered around. Not that being confused is a long trip for me!! Thank you, Marian.

And step by step instructions are already given to you for resetting your font in your other thread.
