From MDNA Games

A Walkthrough by Arglefumph (Michael Gray)

Home

Enter Carol's bedroom. Take the phone from her dresser and read the message on it. The message is from Jonna, who has a missing persons mystery for Carol to solve.

Jonna Brand's House

Go to the front door and use the knocker. Talk to Jonna about everything. Go upstairs and enter Alvin's room. On the dresser with a TV, there is a card for the Green Tile Skatepark.

Green Tile Skatepark

At the end of the skatepark, near a lamp post, you can see a jacket on the ground. Inside is a piece of paper that says Alvin uses "ALRQ" as a graffiti tag.

Jonna Brand's House

Go to Alvin's room. The dresser that is opposite of the doorway has several letters on it. Press the letters "A", "L", "R" and "Q", in that order. This opens up the dresser. Inside is a card for the train museum.

The Train Museum

Talk to Holger about everything. Explore the train station, if you want.

The Old Railway Museum

Go around the fence to enter the museum. Explore it, if you want. You only have to go forward three steps, past the black train engine.

Jonna Brand's House

Go back to Alvin's room. He has a tablet inside the drawer you opened earlier. You want to match the four numbers on the tablet, to four numbers that can be found in the two train museums. The solution is a square around the 29, open numbers for the 36, a circle around the 7, and a triangle around the 62. You can get those, by clicking the 29 twice, the 36 three times, the 7 four times and the 62 once. Press okay after getting the numbers correct, then select the file labeled "RZ message". The message is about a skateboarding group called the Rolling Zones. They made Alvin do a long scavenger hunt, which you will have to complete.

Dogwood Ramp

Go all the way forward, then turn around. Under the right side of the ramp is a stick. Look on both sides of the stick to see the next destination.

Tennis Court

Go all the way forward, then turn left. On the left side of this screen is a brick. Click on it to move it aside, revealing a key. Take the key and turn right. There is a green pole against the wall, left of the graffiti letter "A". Use your key to unlock the top of the pole for a phone. It has a quiz about the Acorn Skatespot.

Acorn Skatespot

There is a ramp here. On the front of the ramp, on the left, is a note from Jasper. Look at it to get his address. Carol correctly guesses he is one of Alvin's acquaintances. On the back of the ramp, there is a small wrench, lying on a support block.

Tennis Court

The answer to the phone's quiz is 3, 1, 2 and 1. It tells you to go to the worst skatespot.

Jasper

Visit Jasper and talk to him about everything. He says Alvin hid things inside skateboard wheels. We'll see that later on in the game. He says the worst skatespot in town is the one at Twin Oaks, which is totally useless.

Twin Oaks

The skatespot is to your right. There is a small ramp, connecting the skatespot to the pathway. Examine this ramp to find a piece of wood. On the underside is a riddle. Seeing it lets you go all the way down the pathway, which turns right and goes past a small building covered with graffiti. The backside of this building has your next destination, as well as a locked door and a skateboard wheel that is too high to reach.

Aneby Arena

Go across the skateboard ramp and turn left. Zoom in on the compass, which is on the concrete. It associates yellow with north, red with south, gray with west and blue with east.

Twin Oaks

There are four directions, written on the back of one of the blocks in the skatespot. They say west, east, south, north. There is also a small concrete ramp, on the far end. Look at it from the side to find a bag with a phone inside. The phone requires you to match the four directions with the four colors from Aneby Arena. We know the directions are west, east, south, north. Aneby says west is gray, blue is east, red is south and yellow is north. Therefore, the solution to the puzzle is gray, blue, red and yellow, which is right, left, up and down on the phone. That gives you the next location.

Adventure Golf

You have two things to do here! First, find the tallest chimney. It's a building which is painted white. From the entrance, you travel along the right path to find it. Second, you need to find three stumps with colored numbers on them. They are next to the large photograph spot of a person on a throne. Zoom in on the stumps. 1 is green, 2 is blue and 3 is red.

Heating Plant

Walk towards the heating plant. When you get so close to it that you can no longer see the sky above the roof, take a detour to the left. There are two concrete markers. Inside the left one is a tool.

Twin Oaks

Go to the building, at the end of the pathway. Open the door with the tool you just got. Inside is a phone. The solution to this puzzle was on the stumps in adventure golf. It's blue in the top row, green in the middle row and red in the bottom row. This gives you the passcode 8735.

Heating Plant

Go all the way forward, to the heating plant door. Open it with 8735. Turn left and open the furnace. On the door is written "Mariehof Ramp".

Mariehof

There is no ramp here, but there is a man. Talk to him completely. He tells you to clean all the trash at Yonder Park. Then he'll take you to the ramp. He gives you a grabber that lets you reach things that are far away.

Twin Oaks

This is the last time you have to come here! Go all the way to the building, at the end of this area. Above the building is a green wheel, that is too far to reach. Use the grabber to reach it. Inside the skateboard wheel is a picture of where the prize is located, in Mariehof Ramp.

Yonder Park

You have to go forward a bit, then turn left to enter the park. There is a slide near the entrance. There are seven pieces of trash that you have to find in the park. The first is left of the slide, and you have to use the grabber to get it. From the slide, turn left, go forward, turn left and get trash. Turn right, go forward, then turn right to pick up trash. You need the grabber to get it. From there, turn left, go forward, turn right at the bridge, go forward and turn left to get trash. Cross the bridge. One step past it, turn right for trash. Turn left, go forward twice, then turn right for trash. Turn left, go forward twice, then turn right for trash. Carol will say something, when you have collected all seven pieces of trash.

Mariehof

Tell the man you have picked up all the trash. He shows you where Mariehof Ramp is.

Mariehof Ramp

Go around to the far side of the ramp and take the piece of paper, which is hidden in the tube. You can only look inside it, if you saw the paper inside the skateboard wheel at Twin Oaks.

Carver Fountain

After going past the entrance, you can either go forward and left to the fountain, or you can turn right to go down side paths. At the end of the side paths, there is a trashcan. A putty knife is on the ground next to it. Take the putty knife, then go to the fountain. On the far side, above the drain, is a lid. Use the wrench from Acorn Skatespot on the two bolts that are securing the lid in place. Click on the lid, and Carol says she can't lift it herself. Use the putty knife you just got on the lid to lift it up. This reveals a tablet from the Rolling Zones. That reveals a math puzzle. The solution is turtle, then sheep. Enter those symbols, then click okay to submit it. Click on the white box to send your phone number to the Rolling Zones. They will send you a message later on, after you visit Crystal Bridge.

Mariehof Ramp

Go to the far end of the ramp, where you found the picture. Under the ramp is a skateboard tool.

Jonna Brand's House

If you haven't done so already, grab the handle from the kitchen. Then, go to Alvin's bedroom. On the desk, by his computer, there are two skateboard wheels. Use the skateboard tool on the right wheel, in order to get a memory card. Use it on the tablet in his drawer, the one that was locked with the ALRQ code. This gives you the passcode for his phone (4235) and the password for the basement, which is red, red, purple, yellow, and teal. Go downstairs. The basement door is next to the stairs that go upstairs. Enter that passcode on the door lock to open it. You'll be pressing the up/right button twice, the lower/left button, the up/left button, then the down/right button. The basement has a door with yellow tape on it. Enter it, then turn left and pick up the footstool. Go up to the top floor of the house. Look at the hatch on the ceiling, behind the blue sofa. Carol's too short to reach it. Use the footstool here, then climb on it. Use the handle from the kitchen on the hatch to open it. You find that Jonna is running a scam, as well as a letter from her boyfriend, August.

Stina

Go to Stina and talk to her completely. She agrees to locate August, if you fix her car and find her wedding ring.

Stina's Garage

The wedding ring is on the shelf by the window, towards the door. Pick it up. Open the hood of Stina's car and look inside. Carol has no idea what to do, but luckily, her friend Jonas sends a message.

Jonas

Talk to Jonas completely. Jonas asks if you could find him a face mask, he tells you how to fix the car, and he gives you a key to the storage area.

Storage

Use your key to open up the storage area. Once inside, turn left. The bottle you need is on the right side.

Stina's Garage

Open the car hood. Remove the red cap, then use the bottle of fluid on the engine. Put the red cap back. The car is working fine now!

Stina

Talk to Stina. She found August's address. Guess what? He wants someone to clean his house!

August Gardner's House

Talk to August completely. He hires you to clean his house, which gives you a great opportunity to snoop. Enter the room with the white walls and the fireplace. By the fireplace is a pile of wood with a matchbox. Inside the matchbox is a key. Take it, then go upstairs. Use the key to open the first door. Then, turn around. On the dresser by the door is a hex key. Go downstairs and enter the room with the reddish walls. Use the hex key to open the top drawer of the cabinet, which is between two doors. Inside is a folder. Open it to see "BJ61" written on it. Go back upstairs and in the room. In the corner is a cabinet with numbers and letters. Enter BJ61. The cabinet opens, revealing Jonna's bag. There was a note in Jonna's house, which indicated the bag was here at August's. Take the key from the bag, and leave August's house. Before exiting the area, you should travel down a side path, to a river. Inside a boat here is a cleaning cloth.

Jonna Brand's House

Go to the basement. Near the basement stairs is a locked door. Use the key to open it. Look at the top of this closet. There's a paper about oleander that you must read. There is also Alvin's phone. The tablet in his room said the passcode is 4235, so use that to open the phone. The phone has many apps, but you can only use two of them. "My Files" is locked with another passcode, and "My Notes" says Alvin dropped his diary by Crystal Bridge.

Crystal Bridge

Go forward to the bridge. When you're standing on the side of it, look towards the river. Click on the brown walkway, under the bridge. Carol can now climb up the side of the bridge, to see that area. It's boarded up now, unfortunately. Carol will come back here and get the diary, close to the end of the game. For now, leave the area. You get a text from the Rolling Zones, saying the passcode for their tablet at Carver Fountain.

Carver Fountain

Go to the tablet in the fountain. As the text says, the password is blue, yellow, white, red, red. This shows a note. The Rolling Zones want you to use graffiti to write "Rolling Zones" on a slide in the industrial park.

The Industrial Park

Take two steps forward and turn right. There is a screwdriver on the ground here. Go to the end of the Industrial Park, and Carol says there is no slide here. Turn around and look at the large banner. That gives the correct location of the park.

The Industrial Playground

Go forward and turn left to reach the playground. The first part of the playground has a wooden structure. Inside is a facemask. Hooray! The second part of the playground has the slide. Carol wonders how she can spraypaint it, without breaking the law.

Jonas

Give Jonas his facemask, and he agrees to help you. He'll photoshop graffiti on the slide, if you get him a photo of it.

The Industrial Playground

Go to the slide and use your phone to take a picture of it. Carol sends it to Jonas right away. On your way out of the area, Jonas sends you two text messages, asking you to get a bottle of rosé wine from your home.

Home

First things first, go to the bathroom! Use the hand sanitizer there to clean your hands. Go to the kitchen. Get the can of cherry juice from the fridge and grab the sodastream bottle from the table, left of the fridge. Go to Carol's entertainment room, where she has a large container of alcohol. Remove the lid, then use the bottle on it for a bottle of alcohol. There is a typical wine bottle in front of the TV in this room. Grab it, then return to the kitchen. Use the sodastream bottle on the sodastream machine. Press the button on the machine twice to work it, then get the bottle. Use the cherry juice on it for an improvised bottle of rosé wine, then put the wine in the wine bottle.

Jonas

Talk to Jonas about everything. He gives you the photo, which Carol sends to the Rolling Zones. They respond by telling her to go to the skatepark near the running track.

Jasper

Carol goes to see if Jasper knows where this skatepark is. Ring his doorbell, to learn that he's not home. August sends Carol a message, telling her she can use a screwdriver to open a door in his upstairs area.

August Gardner's House

Go up the stairs. The door in question is the one farthest from the stairs. Use the screwdriver from the industrial park on the door. Oh no, it's too large!

Jasper

Jasper is back! Ask him about the skatepark, and he says it's the one near the Hitchen Center.

Hitchen Banks

There are two ramps here! Well, three, but you can't examine the third one. The one at the back of the area has a wrench underneath its right side, and the ramp in the middle of the area has a note about your next location.

St. Lukas' Field

The kiosk here is supposed to hold your clue, but it is currently closed. Darn. Go into the skateboard area itself, and on the left, you find a file. Use it on the screwdriver, to make the screwdriver slightly smaller.

August Gardner's House

Go upstairs and use the screwdriver on the door that's farthest from the stairs. You can now enter the room. There is a banner by the door which is green, blue and yellow. Go downstairs, to the white room where you found a key in a matchbox. Under the TV is a book. Unlock it by pressing the green, blue and yellow buttons, in that order. Inside are some of August's notes, including one about a legal case.

Stina

Stina discovers the case is about a property that August's father owned. The address is on the brief summary.

Old House

Go to the door of the house and zoom in on the lock. It's a walrus lock. Enter the shed nearby. There is a box with various letters on the lid. Spell out the word "walrus" to get a key. Use the key top open the door. The house has a piece of paper for you to pick up, in the attic. August says there is a zebra box in his house.

August Gardner's House

Go upstairs, into the room that's farthest from the stairs. The closet here has the zebra box. Enter the letters Z, E, B, R A to open in. Inside is a nasty letter written by August's father. Leave the house, and Carol gets a letter from Holger Stenson.

Train Museum

Holger says that he has Alvin's bag inside the local skate hall.

The Norrkoping Skate Hall

Go forward into the hall, then turn right. The bag is on the ground. It has skateboard parts inside, as well as a note for the chill room door. The chill room is by the exit. As the note indicates, you open it by pressing right, down, up and left. Enter the chill room, then turn left to a small computer room. There are two papers on the desk. One is a map and one says there's a key to the kiosk here. The key is by the door.

St. Lukas' Field

Use the key to get into the kiosk. There is a handwritten note which lists the next clue of the scavenger hunt. It says to stand on a specific ledge in the park. If your back is to the kiosk, then it is the ramp in the upper/left corner. Stand on that ramp, then look through the circular hole.

Grove

Go forward all the way, left, forward all the way, then turn right. Buried in the ground is a box. This is a puzzle. The top of the box indicates all senses should be blue, all clothes should be green and all body parts should be red. To do this, click on the brains, pants and lungs, then click the unlock button. This reveals a w, which says the next step in the challenge is to take a picture of yourself on a specific skateboard, in a specific location.

Dawkin's Hill

When you first arrive, Carol says to take a picture right away. You should do that! Then go up the hill for a bit. On the left side are multiple pathways. On one of the pathways, you find a broken sign. Use your wrench to completely remove it. This gives you the next location.

Owl Stroll

This is another scavenger hunt area! You want to go all through the owl stroll, turning left and right at every place. You'll find seven pieces of a skateboard. Find them all to solve the challenge. The piece at the far end can only be reached with the grabber, and the piece in the shed can only be found if you use the key from the pink book to open the shed.

Here's how I solve the puzzle. I go all the way to the end of the area, then turn left. Use the grabber to get the part. Then I turn left. I go forward twice. I grab the piece on the right, and I grab the key on the left. I go forward twice, and grab the piece on the left. I go forward once and grab the piece on the right. I go forward twice and grab the piece on the left. I go forward four times and go left to the shed, for a piece. From the shed turnoff, I go forward twice and turn right for the last piece. Carol will say something when you get all of the pieces.

Jonas

Talk to Jonas. He agrees to fix the picture for you, if you pick up the broken signs in the plant harborage.

Plant Harborage

This is another place where you have to explore pretty much every screen on the area. Pick up any sign that has fallen over. Don't forget to get the pliers from the picnic table, and don't forget there are paths on the left and right in this area. Carol says something when you have all of them. Leave the area when you're done, and Jonas sends you the picture. Send it to the Rolling Zones.

I solve this by going down the right path first. The first sign is on the right. Two steps forward, then turn right for another sign. After that, you take a detour to get the pliers from the picnic table. Continuing down the right side, you take three steps forward, and a sign is on the left. One step forward, and the sign is on the right. U-turn at this point, then go through the whole area, through the other side. A sign is on the right. Take two steps forward. One is on the left and the right. Take two steps forward. One is on the left. Take a step forward, and one is on the right. Take a step forward, and two are on the right.

Crystal Bridge

You got pliers from the plant harborage. Climb to the upper area of the bridge. Use the pliers to open a pathway, then crawl across to the other side of the bridge. Climb down. On the far side of this area, past a wheelbarrow, you can find Alvin's diary on the ground. It is next to a piece of wood, and you have to be facing the bridge to see it. Read the diary. Among other things, it says there is something in the fire hydrant at the skate hall. Go all the way back to the entrance to leave this area.

The Norrkoping Skate Hall

Go into the skate hall. Unscrew the yellow part of the fire hydrant. Look inside it for a key. Take it, then put the yellow thing back. Use the key on the manager's office here, which is in the skate hall, up some stairs. On a computer on a shelf is some cleaning fluid. Use the fluid on the cleaning rag you got from the boat that's outside August Gardner's house.

Crystal Bridge

You have to go all the way across the bridge again. In the middle of this area is a dome-shaped thing with buttons on the top. Zoom in on them, then clean them off with the cleaning rag with fluid combination. You have to clean multiple times. This reveals they are different colors.

Jonna Brand's House

Go to the closet in the basement, which has Alvin's phone. Select the "My Files" app. You want to click on the pool cues here to change the color of the pool balls. Make them match the buttons by the crystal bridge. From left to right, they are four purple, three orange, two purple and one orange. That unlocks the file, which says the password to Jonna's computer is 1986. Go upstairs and use her computer, which is on the dining table. Click on the recycle bin to reveal two files. Look at both of them, and Jonna gets a message about the garage key. Leave the house and look under the potted plant to find the key. Use it to open the garage door, which is behind the fence. In the garage, you find a receipt in a trashcan, as well as a mailbox key on a table. Use the key to open the mailbox. You find a receipt for a cremation.

Crematorium

You want to go forward, then turn left. This is a rather large area, and there are two circular places with lots of flowers. One of them, the one that is farther from the entrance, is a mass grave. You find a card among the flowers. Open it to find the date of Alvin's death. As Carol leaves, she gets a message from Jonna.

Jonna Brand's House

Talk to Jonna about everything, especially Alvin. She gets mad at you.

August Gardner's House

Talk to August about everything. He thanks you for potentially saving his life.

That's the end of the game! Thanks for reading my walkthrough!
