I've been able to manage most of the keyboard commands (some match the game explanations, some I've had to guess at). I'm at the beginning with NIco. Had the fight, climbed down to the alley and over the wall and picked up the wig. Walkthrough says to "look" at wig in inventory and note blonde hair. Action map shows "combine" icon. Says noting it triggers sports car dialogue. Page up and page down and all four arrows all move inventory up or down. Nothing "combines" or "notes" so no dialogue. Pressing the w-a-s-d buttons pulls wig out of main inventory, or puts it back. Nothing gives me the ionteraction necessary for the sports car dialogue. Help, please??
I really enjoy mornings. I just wish they came later in the day.

I haven't played this, but here is what Mags says about combining objects: "To combine items in inventory use the left action (2 boxes with an arrow) panel after selecting the items to combine..."
"Once you give up integrity, the rest is easy." Anonymous

My recollection is you can examine items in your inventory. If you select the wig in the inventory, the "eye" icon should be available. Click on the eye and Nico will look at the wig and find the hair.
Quantity has a quality all of its own

Me, again. Ok, the "looking at the wig" thing worked, so I thought I had the inventory stuff figured out. I don't. I'm in Glastonbury with George and am supposed to combine the iron rod with the poetry book to remove the coins. Following directions, I highlighted the book. Directions say to press the "combine" button to bring item forward. I did. Zip. The only button that brings highlighted things forward is "S". And nothing seems to "combine" book and rod. Since I can't move forward without the coins off the poetry book, does anyone have a suggestion?
I really enjoy mornings. I just wish they came later in the day.

What I haven't done prior to trigger the scene is combine the iron pipe with the poetry book with the three silver coins attached to the front. Combining the pipe and book separates the coins from the book. The way I understand the instructions, you are to highlight (the item becomes larger and is circled, right?) one item and bring forward using the combine key (tab?). Thing is, presing combine key after highlighting prompts Geoge into a description of said item, but does not bring it forward. The only key that brings inventory items forward is my "S" key. And so far, no key on my board "combines" anything. Everything else in the game works, but that. Unless there's two keys to press (like forward arrow and shift to make the characters run)?

I've also been having a problem with the game crashing. Will be going along and next thing I have a tight woven, green straw mat looking thing instead of the game, and have to reboot. Because of this, I've been saving twice as much as needed. This also happens in Prince of Persia (a totally cool game!) Problem there, is, you have to play a long time before a save comes up. Anybody else having this problem?
