Big Fish , Shockwave , & what other site can I trust?
So far I have done well at Big Fish,
~ spend too much ~ but trustworthy site. LOL
And the Shockwave membership has been good to me.
Is there another safe site, maybe like Shockwave
where a reasonable yearly fee
gets me all the downloads I want?

Hope I chose the correct Forum for this, yall. catrub

I've never recommended Shockwave, they place clear gifs aka web beacons on your computer to track your activity.

I recommend Spin Top as the other choice if you do not want BigFish. THose two are the cleanest sites.

I have also used Sandlot with much success. They have OK customer service. It seems to take much longer for a response. And I recently downloaded from Amazon. The games downloaded and installed perfectly. But, I have yet to use their customer service. I usually find that Big Fish has most everything I need and I really do appreciate their customer service! smile

The best math you can learn is how to calculate the future cost of current decisions.

headscratch hhhhhmmmmm may have to rethink Shockwave headscratch

I have no problem with Big Fish at all
and will keep/use it as well,
just like the idea of access to any/all games for one yearly fee.
That, and I guess I really need to get a Life
because I stay too far ahead of their posting
of new {to me} games slapforehead

Thanks yall, will have to look into Spin Top & Sandlot.
How do they work ~ Subscription access, or per-game-fee?

Gamehouse and iWin also have play-all-you-want monthly subscription plans. Gamehouse has FunPass (which comes out cheaper if you choose the annual option), and iWin has the All-Access pass. Both sites are trustworthy and have good reputations. These work like Netflix, where you pay a flat monthly fee, and you can download and play as many games as you like

Another option is WildTangent, where you buy a pack of virtual coins, and you use these to play a game. It works like a video arcade where you have to drop in coins to play. If you play TM or action games repeatedly, you'll run out of coins quickly, but if you play HOGs or adventure games, it's much more worth it, because you only go through those games once -- it comes out to around a dollar or two per playthrough.

Here are the links --

Gamehouse FunPass comes with a free 7-day trial, so you have a week to play everything you want, for free! ;)

I do not recommend GameHouse, Wildtangent or Iwin for downloads. Before joining make your own decision by reading their privacy policys here for GameHouse and here for Iwin and and here for WildTangent. They install unneccessary tracking devices on your computer and your spam will increase.

Once again, please check where you download from before downloading and make your own decision.

I agree with Penny Lane, Spintop and Alawar are my favorites, they don't add junk on my computer.

Gamehouse has really gone downhill in the last few weeks. They used to release 6 games a week and 2 or 3 of them would be good quality HO/adventures from people like Eipix, Mad Head, Blue Tea and the like and they were all CEs. Recently they cut the number of releases to 4, which they say on their FB page "to concentrate on good quality". If this is what they think they are doing they have failed dismally. The games are to be blunt, awful.

Does anyone know why Gamehouse have done this? I think they will lose a lot of customers. I shall cancel my subscription if things stay this way.

I do not know what is going on with GameHouse. If I read anything about it, I will let you know.

Thank you. I would appreciate knowing if things are going to get better....or not! I preferred GH to iWin or Wild Tangent because they had so many good games so I really hope this is not the way they are going.

I know a lot of people like Big Fish but for me it's too expensive as I play a lot of casual games and I don't want to own them as I only want to play them once.
