I realize it may be too early to ask this, but I thought I would give it a try. I'm playing the Secret Files 3 German Demo, and I seem to be stuck in some mini game.

When I go to push a statue as Nina, it asks me a question. I looked it up with Babel Fish, and apparently it's asking me if I want a challenge or not. (I thought at first it was asking me whether or not I wanted to skip the mini game and became frustrated when I ended up in it no matter what.)

Apparently, the object is to push the statue back and forth, but I'm not really sure what my ultimate goal is. I'm guessing I'm supposed to get the statue to the opening on the other side, but no matter which way I push it, I don't seem to be making any progress. The statue just seems to stay where it is. I'm not even sure if I'm supposed to get the statue to move or tip over. I was wondering if anyone else had gotten to this point, and if so, do you have any tips on how to get past it? I would really appreciate it if so.

MaG, no I finished the climbing the wall puzzle without any problem. It's the statue mini game that I'm on, and it's a pain. I'll see if the walkthrough is any help, though. Thanks for the link.

And of course, if anyone's made it past that part, please feel free to give tips. I really wish I could skip this mini game.

I have finished the demo, including the statue mini game.

The question is if you want to solve the puzzle the hard way or the easy way. I think the second line is the easy way. At least, that's what I chose.

Your goal is to get to the window on the right wall (if I remember it correctly).

You have to push it at the right moment. I had some problems myself. When you push it to the left, you have to push it to the right when the statue is far left, and so on several times, like a swing

Kolby, thanks for the tip, that was very helpful! I was finally able to get through it, though it still took me quite a few times, even on the "easier" setting. Reminded me of that horrible swinging cage sequence in Paradise. Unpleasant deja vu.

Anyway, thanks again for the assistance. Now I can get on with the demo.

I was a bit surprised it wasn't a skip option for it.

Thanks again, Kolby. I was able to get through the demo with pretty much no problem after that, though it looks like there may be a place where you can back yourself in the corner. When I first fixed the air conditioning, I had everything turned on, and when I went to turn on just the things I needed, it wouldn't let me try it again. So I went back to a saved game and replayed it without a hitch the second time. Anyway, it may just be a translation issue, and it's probably partly my own fault for turning the subtitles off. I always find them distracting, even in English.

In any case, I'm really looking forward to the full game. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.
