I am lost at the Library!!! I can get everythin, but when it comes to the locations on the map nothing happens. I must be missing something but am lost....HELP!!!

I am at the library but am totally lost here. I think I have everything here. I have the first two books and locations but when I click on the locations on the map nothing happens!!! I have double checked to make sure that the locations are in minus etc but still nothing....this is the last thing I have to do in this chapter. This has been the most frustrating part for me, everything else has gone quickly. Any help you can give me here would be great.

welcome PaLady,

These 2 numbers that you got from the books - did you get the letters of those books from the TV on the right after you prepared it?

If so, When you click on the map - does it show numbers?

Yes I got the numbers from the TV/computer to the right and then when I go to the map it does show numbers. I have moved my cursor to the correct numbers making sure if they were minus or positive but when I got to the first number and clicked on the map nothing happens. This is the only area so far I have had any serious problems with and it is soooo frustrating. I don't think I have missed anything either. I got all the items and have used them. The only item left for me to use again is the lighter, all others have been used.

PaLady,

You need to get the two numbers to show at the same time. When you get the first number, move up or down while holding the first and find the second. If you have, say -50 and 70N then the spot to click is (-50 70N)

Good Luck,
Flo

Hmmm....ok the numbers I have are -168, 24s I ran the cursor until I reached those cooridinates but nothing happens. Boy this is frustrating for me, I usually do not have this much trouble. I must be missing something.

edit: Hooray.........and DUH!!! Thank you so much flo. I finally got it. Now to move on.

I have one thing to do in Chapter 4 (Round and Round) . I'm not doing very well with it. I know I'm going to run out of time.
My questions are- Any hints on this one?
Also, I have two Orbs- If I don't finish the chapter and have to start again do I lose them? If I'm going to lose them I might as well just use one.
Thanks,
Susan

Hi Linds, Check Here on Page 5 for some discussions and hints on the Round and Round.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what happens to the orbs if you don't finish, but I don't think you lose them. luck

Susan,

This is what L4L mentioned in page 5:

Double check that all solid colors are in similar colored rings.
Some gets moved out or wrong colors inside those rings when you redo the others.
It does take patience.

- Take note of the rotation of the balls move it to a position where when you do the rotation - it will fall inside the same colored rings.
- Do the outer or single balls first, then you can concentrate on the crowded ones.
- Check if there are rings with far matching colored balls. Move a colored ball closer to it then so that they will be removed from the crowds.
- Then recheck that the balls are placed in the matching colored rings when you think you are done. luck

Thanks MaG,
I'll give it a try. Do you know if you lose Orbs if you have to start a chapter over again?

Susan I think the orbs are more of a safety net when you can't solve a puzzle. Aren't they the means of solving a puzzle without losing more time or literally having to solve the puzzle yourself?
I think you only have to restart a chapter if you run out of time.
