I have made the flute but Niels never makes a sound or appears.
When the flute is on the screen I cannot access the wind
option either. Maybe I'm going crazy. I don't hear any noise
out of any holes and would love a saved game right now.

If you see the flute in close up on the screen, the cursor looks like a flimsy cloth-wind and that is what you click on each hole of the flute to make a sound.

I used the scary sound essence on the bone then the spooky
noise sound but I don't hear or see anything happening. I
will try again with the sound all the way.

you just blow through the flute .Then he appears on the right side of your screen then you have to
get 7 responses where the tones are gentle .Hope I have worded this right .If you hear an high pitched sound he is angrey avoid that .Play aroun you will click on

Hi crwk, I had trouble with this part too. I finally got it .
If you have the scary sound essence- use it on the bottom of the bone-it looks like a black spot on the very bottom-took me a long time to figure this out.
