I had this game in my shelves for about 2 months. It was only two days ago that I start playing it again.
Gameplay: B & B, it’s a third person point and click adventure game which takes place in nowadays. During playing you can play other characters except the major one depending on the plot of the story. There is a map which allows you to go fast wherever you want and a notepad in which you can see important notes that you already find. There is also a diary in which you can read what must be done next.
Story: The story begins in your heroes apartment, Jonathan Danter, who is planning travel to Miami for an important interview (and to see girls in short shirts). Yes you are a journalist. Your boss is yelling at you that you absolutely must succeed in that part. But alas when you are all set to go something strange happens and your travel goes for a walk. From this point you will find yourself in an adventure beyond your imagination… and you simple must go to the bottom of all these. It’s a matter of life and death… Maybe your owns too. What secrets are hidden in Virgin Mary’s robe, the Vatican, the Templars treasures and what is the Imago Sanctissimus? You are the one who must find out…
Environment: The game takes place in different places in Europe such as Venice, London and France. It’s like a treasure hunt, following hidden clues that will lead you to an unbearable truth. The scenes are very nice all though the characters aren’t so well designed. You will visit very beautiful places.
Videos: Many videos in this game. Most of the time you will sit and watch than playing. Most of them are fool of talking and you can find yourself to 3 or 4 different places in the game before the video ends.
Music: Not very much to say about the music of this game. It’s ok but I would prefer to hear different music in the videos and not the same.
Minimum System Requirements: OS: Windows® 2000 / XP / Vista™ CPU: 1.2 GHz Intel® Pentium® processor or AMD® Athlon™ processor RAM: 256 MB (1 GB recommended for Windows® Vista™) Video: 64 MB DirectX® 9.0c compatible or better video card PC CD-ROM: 4x (or PC DVD-ROM drive) Sound: 16-bit DirectX® compatible sound card Available Hard Disk Space: 2.5 GB DirectX®: 9.0c Other: Mouse, Keyboard and Speakers
Epiloge: I could say that it will be much better if they unfold this story a little more. In general the story and the point and click part are the good parts in this game. From the other hand there are several bad elements in this game. For example the playing time of the game was very short and it has a lot of videos to sit and watch. This would not be so bad if it was more balanced to the other parts of the game. It happened to play for 10 minutes and then watch a video which just didn’t want to end. The point and click element of the game though was pretty nice for those who like this kind of gaming mode but the interactive parts weren’t so many. From a point of difficulty level I’ll say it was one of the easiest games I ever played (when you understand the gameplay) and I wouldn’t recommended for those who liked puzzles. There are very few and very easy puzzles in this game. It’s like they solved on their own. Belief and Betrayal (B & B) didn’t achieved to create the mystery atmosphere that is necessary in this kind of game.
Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free.

I mostly agree with Volkana's review. I played the game in italian and I assume it is the same as the english version. I found the game entertaining and the puzzles were nice, however I remember being a bit disappointed about the ending. As Volkana said, it should have been a bit better thought out. All in all an ok game in the spirit of Martin Mystere games which were also good.
