Maybe you can clear up the ending for me then, as I felt it a giant "HUH?" of a magnititude never before seen on Lost.
The ending , the way I saw it, was this: Elliot was back in the beach at the moment of the crash, but this time his girlfriend was with him, looking exactly like in the flashes he saw of her during the game, with blood on her face. He thought they were flashbacks, instead they were flashforwards to a future in which he was given another chance. So in the end he wakes up after the crash but she is alive so in this future he did not kill her cuz he is a different man. The island has changed him, like Locke said: It does not matter who you were before but who you are now. As in the tv series, the island is a mysterious mystical place in which anything, especially time warps , can happen, so Elliot found his way home , but home was not a physical place but figuratively was the new and better person he had become. Hence the ending in which he got his girlfriend back Thet's why I thought the ending was very Lost like and I enjoyed it. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * I can't wait to play this game. I just hope that it's not based on that you have to have seen the TV series, if so I probably not like it.
Can anyone tell me something, are the others in it and do we encounter "the monster" aka the black fog. You don't need to have seen the series to like and play the game as Grimlin said in his review as well. The others are in it and the black smoke too * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you're going to discuss the game's ending, it would probably be a good idea to start a "Lost: Via Domus -- The Ending -- Spoilers" thread specifically for that discussion.
Thanks! Becky, I answered the ending question with spoiler tags, so I hope it's ok

Jedi -- I'm going to consolidate your posts -- it's better to use the "Edit" button rather than to stack several posts together.
I asked for a separate thread because I think that's better when discussing a game's ending than adding onto the official review thread with a discussion that's going to heavily involve spoilers, particularly when the game has released so recently.
Hi becky, yes I still have not gotten the hang of this quick quote thingy where if you use that, all your replies will be stacked in one. I'll remember to always use quick quote for more than one reply from now on. Thanks for reminding me. As for the game ending, if there is further discussion about it, I understand why you would want to move it to another thread

No you use the mouse and the w and in certain parts a d .I found it a little fustrating in places but it had a good story and when you die you get loads of chances and you do get guided through so you know where you are going .I would nt say it is an hard game to play if I can do the running and jumping Im sure most can .There is nt a lot of running and jumping just 2 small parts .and the jumping and ducking is done by the mouse .Right to duck left to jump d to go right and a to go left .Hope this helps .A lot easier than Dead Reefs

Dragon: I agree with your description and assessment. Also the controls can be customized so you can choose the keyboard keys most convenient to you for navigation. However it is obviously point and click when you need to collect items,etc...
