Another member asked and I looked for it then. Can't find it.

I haven't played the game yet. Could the saves be in C:\documents and settings\username\application data?

No, it's in the game folder under game/assets/scripts

The last savegame is the .bin with the highest number.

Like this:
1228931590.63.bin

to that belongs 2 .bmp files

1228931590.63_off.bmp
1228931590.63_on-bmp

Trying to use the knife on Pyewacket the cat to get the collar and Mona keeps saying "that is not going to happen"

Okay - I went back to talk to the rats for a second time and they don't want to talk this time.
So now what do I do?

Move that knife cursor and see. It took me 3 or more tries to find the hotspot of that collar.

I had thought of that last night. Must have tried a dozen times and quit.
Guess I should get a message telling me that the cursor is on the collar (I hope).

Place the knife and move it on pyewacket - check the label at bottom of the screen.
It should say something like use knife on collar of pyewacket or something like that - not use knife on pyewacket.

I don't get that label but I'll try again.
Hope you have a saved game at that point.

Do you not get labels at the bottom?
Check the text (I think) option at main menu.

I get labels at the bottom of the screen but not that one.
The Text option is On

That's what I meant - you have to hunt for the hotspot to get the right label. The saved game is on the way.

Having a problem again.
This should be so simple but I can't combine the straw with Froderick.
After my cat collar problem I'm wondering if I don't have a glitch in my game?

***EDIT*** The glitch is in my brain. The combination was in the second half of the coffin and I didn't see it.

Stuck again.
Mona has passed the test in that Dummies book.
But there is no Vampire bite in inventory after passing the test.
