We will wait and see. BTW @Jenny100 - there will not be Aura 4 - in the Aura 3 description it is said that it's the final chapter in the trilogy. I expect all of the games to be good , but am most excited about Aura 3 - Aura 1 was and still is my favourite game.... @BECKY - no problem. Thanks for modifying it....

I'm more familiar with the psychological interpretation of catharsis. But I appreciate learning the word borborygmus despite it's limited ability to be used in most casual conversations. (hee) Thanks Jenny and Becky!

BTW @Jenny100 - there will not be Aura 4 - in the Aura 3 description it is said that it's the final chapter in the trilogy. I saw that, but I thought RHEM 3 was going to be the last one. And I thought Aura 2 was going to be the last one. And I thought Black Mirror and Still Life were not going to have sequels at all. So you never know. Aura 1 was and still is my favourite game.... @BECKY - no problem. Thanks for modifying it.... Aura 1 is one of my favorites too. I didn't like Aura 2: The Sacred Rings so much. (hee) You'd be surprised at the variety of casual conversations you can squeeze it into -- this thread, for example.

Yup , you're probably right about that. I am actually happy that there are others that like Aura as much as I do. It has some special sort of charm in the game and that is why it is my favourite. I started Aura 2 , but did not finish it( maybe soon ). Let's hope Aura 3 is more like 1 than 2.....

I know I'm with the minority (as usual), but I liked Sacred Rings even better than Aura. Comparable in gameplay and puzzles, SR had much more sense of direction and purpose, a real ending and even a little bit of a story. If nr 3 is better again...

Great news about more games....i truly enjoyed Aura 1..but thought Aura II was not so good. Just seemed a bit..'off' to me. Aura 1 really flowed and it pulled you along. I liked Aura 1 better because the puzzles were more evenly distributed throughout the game. In Aura 2, the puzzles had you running around between places and doing more trial and error rather than solving puzzles by logic. The final location (Shadow Legion's Lair) in Aura 2 had the best puzzles (more like those in Aura 1). Unfortunately it also had unpredictable sudden death -- the only way you could tell if something you needed was behind a door was to go through it and see if "game over" lurked on the other side. The final location was also very dark and ugly -- harder to see things and find your way around. There was a place where you had to climb around in the rafters, and I had to consult a walkthrough because I just couldn't find my way around at all. Brightening the monitor or turning up gamma did not help -- just washed out the picture.
