I thought the game was well proportioned as to "locations"

I would have liked to see more of the Nautilus. But "Return to Mysterious Island" was based on the book "The Mysterious Island," which was mainly about the island and the crew of men who landed there, rather than the Nautilus.

I think a game based on Captain Nemo's adventures while he piloted the Nautilus would be interesting though. "20,000 Leagues under the Sea" was mostly told from the point of view of an outsider, so playing a game from Captain Nemo's point of view would offer new possibilities. I assume Nemo must have had many adventures and overcome many problems related to maintaining a submarine for so many years -- and those stories are as yet untold.

Is it only download and no CD?

Dogpenny -- we don't know for sure how the game will release. I think every Kheops game has released for both download and on disk, at least at some point.

Jonas -- sometime in June is what I'm still hearing -- though that's likely to be via download, IMHO.
