The Haze, that demo is dated Jan 6th, 2015. I'm in the same position as you are. Try going to end of the tunnel, turn right and up the stairs where you will find a switch. That's were I am right now. Chief

Thanks from me too, Chief. My game was so dark I couldn't see any steps there, but I did find the switch and then more switches. perhaps I'll even figure out what they mean.

Sandy, go to the last switch at the end of that room on the left. That one as 5 small buttons that moves when you activate the switch. According to the D'Ni number on top of each button, the one on the left must be at "one", the lowest, and the one on the right at "five". Activate the switch and notice where each button is. Now, you must turn the five wheels that you found down the strairs on the right. As an example, if the first button on the left is at 3, then you need to turn the first wheel (on the left) 3x to have it at one. Do so with all buttons and wheels and when you get it OK, all the buttons will form a small stair, with the one on the left at one and the last one at five. Good luck. Chief EDIT: Sandy, that Demo can't be use. It is dated Jan. 2015.

No problem. I'm just a little bit ahead of Sandy. And now Dreamfall is here with chapter three. Decisions, decisions. Chief

Sandy, after finding the D'Ni number on top of each button and turning the wheels a few times and seeing that the buttons change places, it just came to me that turning a specific wheel (let's say wheel #1)a certain number of times, would make that button stop at it's proper place. And it will probably take some time before you find a text WT. A video one should pop up soon. Chief

thanks, Chief. I'll keep in touch. Sandy
I think I'm doing it right, Chief but none of the "barrels" turn. Is the very bottom of the buttons at ZERO, or at ONE? I notice the button sequence changes once you have turned the wheels, but I copy down the sequence each time. I must be missing something. I could use your help again, please. Oh yes, do the wheels "reset" each time you do a wrong sequence? Also, if you do one wheel at a time, does each "barrel" turn as you "program" it? WHEW!

Hello everyone! and thank you to participate in this adventure it makes us very happy! concerning the WT, I would help you not much (unless you block all really! (which would surprise me anyway)) The primary interest of this game is to get back to think! I'm sorry to say, but the latest modern adventure games, are becoming easier, and the solutions are often too visible in the game and too "obvious" So if you can all think together, you help and you get closer, it's even better! and forums are perfect for that! I am confident that a solution will come quickly on the internet (more or less good). I prefer to wait and let the pleasure of finding yourself! then good luck! and tell you just one thing: there is a always a solution, it is always logical, and clues (more or less easily) are present! one last tip: take your time, look at all the details in each room! babye =)

Sandy, let's see if working one button at a time works. Say that the first button is at position 4. Go down to the first wheel and turn it twice. The button should then be at the very bottom (if I remember good) when you activate the switch. And go on with the others. If all switches in that room are on, the barrels should move and no need to bother about the wheels if you did it wrong. Just move on to button #2. Good luck. Chief

Chief, I just don't understand why you would turn the first wheel TWICE if it is in the fourth position. Shouldn't you turn it FOUR times? Also, if you turn a wheel, and go back upstairs, you get a different configuration of the buttons after pulling the switch down. And is the BOTTOM position at ZERO, or at ONE? Sorry if I sound confused, but I AM, right now. Thanks for hanging in with me on this Sandy

Sandy, I'll come back to you this afternoon after replaying from the start. See you later. EDIT: Sandy, you are right, bottom position is zero and it must be counted. So, as an example, if one button is on top of the second small black line and it should be on line four, then you turn the wheel twice. BUT, in another example, if you want to go from line four to line two, you then must count the bottom position and turn the wheel four times (1x to be on line 5, 1x to be at the bottom, 1x to be on line 1, 1x to be line 2). Good luck again. By the way, this is were I still am in this game. I'm presently playing Dreamfall. Chief

Chief, I must be dense, but I just don't understand what you are describing. I'ts not YOU, it's ME. Sorry. I'll study your words again and maybe something will penetrate my brain. LOL Sandy
OK, Chief. Right now my button sequence is: Button ONE on 4 Button TWO on 2 Button THREE on 1 Button FOUR on 2 Button FIVE on 3
How many times do I turn EACH wheel now?. Maybe I will finally "get it" after your answer. Thanks again.

THANK YOU, Chief. NOW, I'm beginning to see the light. I understand the formula now, thanks to you. Now I will give it a shot. Sandy
YAY, I'm in the "cave" now with the water flowing between me and the other side. WHEW! If I ever have to do the "WHEELS" puzzle again, I will know exactly how it's done---from now on. Thank YOU, Chief.

I was very confused by this thread, so here is my detailed explanation in regard to this first water puzzle. There are 5 "barrels", corresponding to 5 slider columns. Each barrel can be in one of 6 positions. Lets label them from the bottom up 0-5, where 0 is also the off (not currently displaying anything) position. Example(4, 1, 2, 0, 2):
-----
x
-----
-----
x x
-----
x
-----
x
Every time you click the corresponding wheel, the the position goes up one, and when at position 5, skips down to 0. The solution is (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). I am not sure why 0-4 is an invalid arraignment, but it does not work. When successful the barrels will continue filling and pouring in repetition.
x
-----
x
-----
x
-----
x
-----
x
-----
So if you have barrel one at position 4, click once to bring it to 5, again to bring it to 0, and a third time to bring it to one.

I'll tell how i approached that puzzle; there is a pressure-meter at the control panel, i activated it and checked the pressure, i changed 1st valve and activated and checked again until i see a progress. Than i did the same for each of valves until it reaches the top pressure and it worked.
