No disrespect to these yearly lists or for the games of the past but I am tired of listing the same old top ten games that I have liked so much in the past. Time for me to move on. They are all good games but most are outdated technology wise so I am now only going back to games released from Jan 2013 to date. I have played more but this list only includes the games that I have enjoyed very much in that time frame. Shame (for me) there are so few.

A lot of the games on my list are oldies or even ancients but the only one on it that has not yet been tweaked (as far as I know) to play on modern machines is "Black Dahlia".

So, as these older games are some of the best ever made and are now available for a new generation of players to experience, I feel they are definitely worth listing

My list is older games too but I listed them because I still think they are the best games out there and are what I would suggest to people just getting into gaming. I wish I has more recent game to recommend.

Black Dahila was one of those games that stayed with me long after I played it because the plot was so good.

A while back, someone in Glitches mentioned a Black Dahlia patch such that the game will run on Vista/Windows 7. I haven't tried it.
