Please send out prayers for my cat Lenny, he's an old one. He's not himself lately. He's hardly eating and when he does, it comes back up. I just lost my Zoe , suddenly a year ago and don't want to lose another one. Thanks.

What does your veterinarian say? Sometimes elderly cats have kidney problems that can be managed. He could just be getting dehydrated too. I hope whatever it is, he can be helped.

I haven't taken him in. I'm wondering if the last food my husband bought is the problem? He was fine before that? I'll keep giving him tuna, that seems to have stayed in his stomach.

I had an older cat that I fed lunch meat to (bologna). He loved it, BUT then he stopped eating, rolled on his side and just howled. Took him to the vet and he had...an upset stomach from too much sodium! Check that new cat food for sodium. The vet gave me some pills that were essentially 'tums'. Cured in in one day. Might try mixing some 'powered' tums in his tuna and see if that helps. But yep. vet is next if he doesn't perk up pronto. Prayers for the kitty and YOU.

They say tuna is filled with mercury now, could that be an issue. Of my 5 cats 2 are ancient and have eaten fancy feast most their lives. It's expensive but they rarely need vet care. I wish you well with this........he must be hurting

Thanks Winfrey and Yankee Clipper. It seemed to start after him eating 9 Lives can food. I'll have to get Fancy Feast in cans, they all loved that.

Be sure you check with your vet before you give your kitty Tums. Depending on what is going on, it might hurt more than help.

Hope your kitty feels better soon. I too recommend the vet if this goes on for more than a couple of days or so.

Forgot to mention.......fancy f also has broth with meat and fish in it. This is really pricey but they love it. Right now Commander Buttons is snacking on tuna,shrimp and whitefish in a decadent silky broth. How is he doing. You love him very much.

Hugs and prayers on the way. When my older cat Madeline stopped eating I coaxed her back with those FF Broths. Now she's back to her normal self and diet.

He's doing ok, he's been sleeping. I hope he comes out of his spot tonight, when Max our dog is either put in his crate or goes up to bed with the husband. Max doesn't get along too well with the cats.
