Really looking forward to this game

I was looking forward to this game also, that is until I see that it is not voiced, bummer

I don't mind no voices myself as long as the story is good and the interface friendly

Well, I'm hoping for the voices. I didn't realize there was even a question about that when I supported the Kickstarter.

oldbroad, on the campaign it clearly stated that voice acting was a stretch goal if it hit 40K. They didn't get that far.

That doesn't mean I saw it Ana. Also doesn't mean I wouldn't have supported it (as I know my post probably sounded).

we will support voices in any way and we've already found many (semi-professionell) voice actors. But in order to provide more "professionell" voices we need more budget. Every single Dollar and every pre-order via paypal helps.

No voices won't bother me... I focus on game play.. in mean..look at..Myst... Rhem.... it's the gameplay... that makes the game for me.... so hope your gameplay is on!

The problem I have with no voices though is that if there is conversation that has to be read, it often leaves the screen before I've finished it and sometimes I don't even notice it there waiting to be read. For that I like voices.

I haven't played Rhem yet but Myst didn't need voices so it was fine with me.

Agreed, voices aren't necessary for first person games which looking at the video this one may not be. My experience is that with third person games there is a lot of talking and NPC character interaction that without voices will be texted in voice bubbles or at the bottom of the screen in which case you end up not "playing" a game but "reading" it. Non-professional voice acting is better than no voices at all IMO. So what game is this, first or third person?

Actually it is a pretty classic adventure game like Monkey Island or Broken Sword. It's a third person game and the text will appear above the character's head.

Marvel can you slow down the text? Or make it a click to proceed?

Sounds like voices to me? And if there are no voices in the finished game, just that bar scene where the bartender is telling the story of the Money Pit was a lot to read. I agree with Miss Winfrey in that if there are no voices one could not keep up with the speed of that text especially if you aren't a fast reader. I do like the idea of "click to proceed" text as Winfrey suggests. Thanks for responding Marvel
