Currently the game is in 4:3 with support for widescreen. In 16:10 images are scaled perfectly, but in 16:9, to avoid distortion, the game engine adds pillarboxed. Visionaire Studio is an engine dedicated to 2D, does not have the camera, as in the 3D engines, to cut or add visual angles automatically.
Probably, indeed, certainly the final game will be widescreen considering the expansion of this format laugh

wave Paupasia

Good to know the finished game will be wide screen. Thank you

Hi Cookie!

Sorry to disapoint you, but the game is NOT widescreen. The option you have is if you want to play it in fullscreen or not. And doesn't matter which option you choose, it's still not widescreen. I would like to comment more about the demo but I am already stuck in the first puzzle. I think logic is not my forte.

EDIT: FORGET ABOUT THIS POST. I DIDN'T SEE THERE WAS ANOTHER PAGE.

Not yet, sorry!
Honestly, the only problem is that neither I nor my friend have an Apple computer to test it on smirk

I have an idea! idea Do you mind to test the .exe file for us? You would do us a great favor and you could be the first one to play Anamedia for Mac ... smile
If you agree, I'll send you the link as a private message

I have tried to DL this demo twice and both times I get a message: This program can't start because MSVCR.110 is missing from your computer. Reinstall to correct. I reinstalled and same message. Is there a fix for this?

Hey Jeepers!

You probably need Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 package to run the game.
You can easily download it for 32 bit (vcredist_x86) or 64 bit (vcredist_x64) HERE ( choose the version of your OS )

Let me know if it works ! wink

Thanks Cookie, I dl both 64 and 86 before game would work. I have 64 and after dl that file, game still wouldn't work, so went back to web and dl the 86 and now it comes up, so I will give it a go. Thanks

.dll missing error is very annoying !! smirk
I've changed my PC one month ago and I had the same problem.
If you haven't already done, check the DirectX9 and 11, update your Graphic Card Drivers, then Visual C++
- e.g. in my OS Win7x64, I have installed all the Microsoft Visual C++ Libraries from 2005 to 2015

I hope that you will find this useful!

Hi Cookie and Paupasia,
Being an addicted Mystaholic, I'm really having fun with this game demo. Thank you so much. Is there any chance of making a walkthrough in order to make my life easier? My grandkids could figure it out, but this grandpa is having trouble.
I wish you luck on your endeavor, and I look forward to the finished product.
Sandy

Sorry it's just too soon for the walkthrough. We have decided, as mutually agreed, to give only hints .... at least for now!
Please, don't hate us! smirk
I will give you all my support, just tell me how can I help you wink

I have an initial opinion on this demo. I have been wandering around in it for a couple of hours now. I am absolutely lost and absolutely impressed. The game is beautiful; the music is weirdly fine, I have no idea(yet)what I'm doing, and I like it a lot! Thank you for allowing us to play it.
