What about Deus Ex M.D., you can play all stealth if you like this.

Thank you mcc but I'm not really good at stealth. I always seem to get caught.

I seem to enjoy the same games as you and I LOVED "Dishonored". At first I wasn't so sure, but after I got into it a bit it became one of my all time favorites. The sequel is supposed to be released in December, so you have time to enjoy the original. wink

I've played Dishonored the same way I played the Thief games -- if I could ghost an area and still get the loot, I would do it, but if I had to, I'd do the sneak-up behind-and bonk-on-the'ead route. Not really any need for combat -- though you most certainly could be agressive if you wanted to. And there is a magic system, though it isn't called that, which makes getting past enemies much easier. Like, a LOT easier. Not to mention arrows that knock people out. All in all, many ways to play.

You might still want to give it a shot, Oldman.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Thank you Hagatha. Maybe I will give it another look. I only looked at the youtube playthrough for a few minutes so maybe I'll check it out further.

I recommend Dishonored too. One of the best games I've played. The Party mission is especially great.

Well I played, and finished, Dishonored. Thanks for the recommendations as I did enjoy the game. I'm not good at stealth so I just bulled my way through and ended up playing on High Chaos. I may replay it and try to lower my chaos but I don't have high hopes in my stealth abilities.

Another note, Mafia III is scheduled for release on 7 Oct which may be (for me) the next big thing(RPG). I played Mafia II and thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the music and playing as a bad guy and the car chases were manageable. If Mafia III is in the same vein it may be worth a look see.

Mafia is one of my favorite games. I liked Mafia 2 as well and hope that Mafia 3 carries on in the tradition.

I finished Deus Ex M.D. twice, the first time I did not get the best ending, the second time played in Game + and got the best ending. The ending is about decisions not due to Game +. The game is good but no as good as H.R. and this one must be sold at a discount this is good for people who want to try the series.

I recommend whoever plays any of these games to answer "no lethal close" (stun gun) when asked which type of weapon you want to be given at the beginning, this independently of which type of game you want to play. It is a useful gun and not that easy to find.

Also for people that get caught all the time (like me) it is indispensable to get the invisibility augmentation and buy supplies of energy.

I see that Dishonored II is due out on Steam in 3 weeks. I am presently on Mafia III and should be finished by that time so it looks like Dishonored II is my next big RPG for this year.

I'm looking forward to Dishonored 2, too.

My biggest problem is that I have SO MANY games still to play. I know I'll be playing Skyrim for the next six months, but a shorter game like Dishonored will be a great two-to-three week diversion.
.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

On November 10th, Tyranny is going to be released - it's from Obsidian Entertainment, who created Pillars of Eternity. Looks like it will be a good RPG. GOG has it available for preorder.

Tyranny looks like a really good rpg. I played Pillars of Eternity and enjoyed it. I have wish listed it on GOG as I have Mafia III and Dishonored II already planned. (Of course plans can always change lol)
