Leena have you turned anti-aliasing and all those other things off in your game options? Have you turned off all other programs in the background? I'm not positive but I think this is one that he pushes down with his hands.

Hi, Am trying to rescue the bird and having no luck I checked MaGs walkthrough. So I know I have to crouch to move across the top of the airship. But even though I do that I can't get past the overhang - I just get stuck, like its a barrier you can't cross. I had thought originally this meant I couldn't go this way, but having checked, it seems I am at the right spot. Am I missing something?? Or am I indeed at the wrong spot?

Hi Flotsam, try moving Oliver right or left a little to see if it will help in getting past the overhang. With the 3D its very picky about placement. Kay

ok got it, after much fussing and fiddling. Then he got stuck on the rope and wouldn't move, or get off; he was sort of hanging in midair on nothing. Its certainly has its little glitches - I now have a failed mission message that won't leave the screen.

Flotsam after you exit that sideways carrier thing it should be the first area that you come to, second door on the left I believe. I don't remember if I needed a key or not but you should have the master keys in inventory still. Please stay with your original thread for this game. Good luck

Is this one of those notoriously fickle hotspots? Can't seem to open any doors with keys in my "hand". And where is the hotspot for the kilts on the front of the train. Am standing with my nose touching the front grill but no luck. Which bit is supposed to light up?? Thanks again.

Hi flotsam, You might need to change your point of view to see the green active spot in front of the train. As for the keys on door, have you tried moving around (again positioning) to get a green highlight on the keyhole or lock? Oliver is sooo picky!

Talk about being silly - I was looking up trying to hang them like a sail, and all I had to do was look down! Am now riding an elephant. What happens if you fall off; can you climb back on? I ask, cos I am currently jumping up and down beneath the elephant, having done exactly that

Flotsam I don't think you can actually fall off the elephant but you may have clicked your mouse and gotten off. Are you stuck under him? I'm sorry, but that is just such an amazing image. See if he'll go into a crouch and get back on top where he belongs. Sue

Flotsam - I did the same thing but was too embarressed to post. You know a man never asks for directions until he is hopeless lost. As Sue says crouch and depending where you are strafe right or left with your D or A keys. Aren't you glad this isn't real life.

Retired, just curious, how did you end up under the elephant? Is it possible to fall off? Oliver went to sleep on his back for me but managed to stay on.

No I didn't fall off - I got off - to walk around to find the levers - I hit the X key by mistake as I started to walk and ended up under him.

Yep, clicked and came off, then tried to treat him like a ladder (walk real close and jump). Somewhere in there I crouched and here I am, underneath. Glad to hear I wasn't the only one Retired!!
