I actually live within about 10 miles of the activity, but it is downhill from us and we're out of the danger zone.

It's the price of living near a volcano, and thankfully the lava is very slow moving, so it is mostly just property at risk.

Good you're safe and that it is "mostly just property at risk", though that can be devastating to the person whose property it is.

Thanks oldbroad and BrownEyedTigre. We're ok, and the eruption appears to have stabilized at this point, thankfully. Some drawers opened up and cereal boxes fell down during one of the earthquakes, but that's the worst we got of it, thankfully.
