At the beginning { struck already} The stone sentry was there & since I can't go past,I'm trying to find the stone circle & altar stone. But can;t find them,I either end up at the hiking trail sign or the main road. Should I go back to Service Station & try to find them at another time? I'm really wandering around in those woodlands alot. Thanks.

I think that Stone moves around a lot--why not go back to the Service Station and do some other things? And isn't there a map somewhere at the Station or in a Motel room? That should help you find what you're looking for. Edit: I'm not much farther along than you are--the way I found some of the places was to start from the car, and every step forward that I took, check to the right and left for a possible path. It takes quite a while, but you'll find several places where you can go--and making a map of your own wouldn't be a bad idea...

In keeping with not having 29 million threads about one game I went into Motel Room 2 - found everything according to Marita's walkthrough - stuck the phone in the charger - went outside to look for the noisy horn and speeding car - tried to re-enter Room 2 to retrieve the phone (assuming it's charged) . . . and the code I used to get in no longer works. Help! (please)

Christine, the door lock is a random puzzle--I just checked my game, and I can't get back in either. So it's possible that it resets when the door is closed. If that's the case, you will need to go back to a save before you opened it the first time, and be sure to take everything with you when you leave...

Christine and Jenny, I think the lock numbers stay exactly the same for the duration of that particular game. I went in and out of those doors numerous times and always used the original code I got without any problem. Good luck

Thanks for your help guys! I read Jenny's first post and did what she suggested - went back to the previous save, took 5 minutes to inspect the room & take the cell phone this time - and exited. Then I tried the same code again - & it worked! So I obviously hit some random key before & messed it up. I think Sue is right - once you receive the room code for a room it stays that code the entire game - unless you go back to a previous save & do it again. Gameboomers to the rescue again!

Sleuth there isn't a casino out back, just a slot machine. Face the desk in Ben's office and unlock/open the door on your right. Go out into the back area and you should see a slot machine, read that as old and faded, red slot machine on your right.

Sleuth are you sure you are lighting the correct candles? I think the brown one you need to light is at the bottom. That could be what's holding you back.

Topher I don't know why you are running into problems. I had not heard of anyone's cell phone not staying charged. The only way around the sentry is to solve other puzzles elsewhere. But you probably need to be able to make phone calls to truly advance in the game. Did you do the telecommunication tower puzzle already? My codes were different every time I played and I never had any glitch problems either.

Topher you need to go fix the communication tower around the side of the cafe to get a signal. I think once your phone is active that you will be able to do other things in the game. Good luck

Topher look for a hot spot low on the chain link gate and see if you can't slip inside. Good luck

Well that must have been frustrating for you Topher! As soon as I got the hotspot, I immediately started fiddling around with things. That seems to be a bad habit I've acquired, steal things and fiddle around with whatever and pray I don't die. Have fun looking for things to take and mix with others. Sue

Topher if I remember correctly, the oilcan is in the office on the desk. Please stay with your original thread for this game, it makes it easier to find where you are and what you have accomplished. Thank you
