Oooh -- there's more than one?

I need an upgrade for the Reality Enabler. I've made it through the red door into the pit already, and one of the consoles tells me that I need an upgrade for Reality Enabler.

I haven't found the white key or the yellow key yet, and there's a locked door in the Corset Maker's Building and a locked door near the two wandering bombs in the pit that I can't get through.

I just picked up some fish gills, but they don't unlock doors. So far.

I've revisited every character in the game (I think) and none will say anything new to me. The dog seems to be in denial. Hmmm. I don't think I've tried the fish gills on him yet. Or maybe they go in the fountain....

Now that's wicked.

Becky, you have a lot to do in the Factory before you get the white and yellow key cards. There's a Vortex Portal in the first lava room.

The Reality Vortex entrance looks like a square with laser beams. Step in that square to get to a Reality Vortex.

The locked door at the Cafe-bar is not opened in the game.
The locked door with the bombs, I think that is the white key door.

Fish gills - talk to the lady proprietor of the shop. You'll know what fish gills are for.

Have you tried to work the computer again at the prison?

Running out right now to try the fish gills in the fountain. Will save first.

I think the white key door is the one in the room that says that it leads to the sewers. I was thinking of leaving that until last, as the entrance to the sewers looks disgusting. Of course, it's mute at the moment because I don't have the key. I mean moot. The locked door in the pit is just a locked door without a matching color. (It's a Plain Vanilla Portal.)

You mean we never get to play Snooker? I was thinking that maybe one of the alien's beds was actually the Snooker table.

I try the computer at the prison every time I stop in. Will try it again, though. Maybe somebody in prison will have something to say about the fish gills before I dump them in the fountain.

Sigh. It's so pleasant having so much left still to do.

One thing that did get me stuck for awhile -- I had accidentally hit the "Caps Lock" key, and then the Y/N function wouldn't work! And when I hit "Escape" while in the Save menu, it asked me if I wanted to explode something.

You press enter next to a mine and disable it. Not sure if that is what you are asking. For EMPs, you press the E key.

Becky, I was bad. I was just teasing you about the fish gills. I never used them for anything.

Not stuck anymore, just feeling a bit sheepish.

I was secretly hoping that the gills would help me breath under water. Tried dumping them in the dwarf's pond too. I have used them now, actually, but not in a way I expected.

If you took notice of the shopkeeper's dialogue you'd have realised.

I might have picked up a hint or two about the purple cloud from that dog also. Amazing how little information I can take in sometimes!

I guess I'm the only one playing this now. I'm stuck in the first Reality Vortex. I got the 'core' that enables me to pick up the pink shards but I can't get back out of the room and I can't pick up the key because there is no bridge to it. HUH????

There is no key in the first Reality Vortex, you must be in the second one in the lava room. The only way to get the key is to collect all the reality fragments and place the core back in its place.

You can't leave the Vortex unless you look like Ed.

Hi Steve, I went back to 'ED' but still can't leave the vortex. I don't see an exit and I can't leave where I thought I came in.

There should be an exit portal just a few "blocks" to the right of where you picked up the core. This is really odd as I've never known objects to disappear like this.

Do you have a saved game just before you entered the Vortex?

I went back to the game and found the portal but I just can't get back to Ed before entering it. I have three arrows to work with but when I change back to Ed using the middle one then I have to go through the bottom arrow to get to the portal and that last one changes me back to a sheep again. My last save before that is at the Reactor and going back there is a bummer. Too many mines to pick up and put down while being shot at. I feel lucky to have gotten through there once. Any suggestions?

You have to use all three of the "changers" in order to get Ed back to Ed. If you only use two it doesn't work.

I'm trying to get back to the Reality Vortex to get the key, which I could not reach when there before. I need it to get the white key card. Is there any way to get more life force or whatever you call it? I keep getting blown out by the shooting thingies while going back.

If you're low on life you get additional life when you choose to continue.

Steve, I have the key from the Reality Vortex, the phone card and the work bench is powered up. Why can't I upgrade the Reality Enabler?

There's a room in the factory with a teleport unit and a locker. The upgrade is in the locker.

Ok, I've made a lot of headway since last post. Now need to get another power cell to make displacer mine. The only ones I see are on the stopped conveyor. The robots have been de-celled, so no more there. I've been everywhere I can go and no power cells that I can get at. None in the store either. Also need one last pink shard for the Reality Vortex in the purple area. Also no where to be found. Any suggestions?

There should be more than enough power cells available. You may need to use a ground mine to destroy one of the robots you didn't take out with the EMP and get that power cell.
