Yup. Did all kinds of stuff in there and have an inventory full of stuff I can't do anything with.

If I'm remembering correctly the lab is near the stairs up to the attic. If you're looking at the stairs, its too the right I believe.

You have to get the code to open the red door before you can get to the main room with the stairs leading to the dormitories. The lab is just to the right of the fire escape.

Draclvr, Do I need to use all of the gadgets in the lab to move on? I found a few things in there but can't use any of them yet and there's a locked door at the back of the lab. Thanks.

Always use the gadgets just in case... especially the night vision. You may see something written that you couldn't see otherwise. But when I finally got the code to use that door, I still hadn't used most of the stuff in there.
