Inferno, I did about the same thing. I spent nearly 10 months being 34 when really I was only 33. (That nice officer told me so) So I finished out the year as 34 and then when I had my birthday I got to be 33. It was a great year, only bad thing was that 35 came around way to fast.

Burpee, I am not a baby! And if you don't stop saying that I'm going to hold my breath til I turn blue!

57 here. Just another old fogie who doesn't feel even close to that. I had to ask mr. vermin how old I was! That's either denial, or just plain senile...

You people are too funny, I couldn't pass this up. Do you think one of the reasons that gameboomers works so well is the heavy influence of older people? Not that you're heavy, hehe. Aw, the physical shell is 45, and I'm proud to join this group! wave

Hey, TSS, I think your UBB Poll would be a very good idea. Somebody out there somewhere ought to realize that not all computer games players are males between 16 and 25! Mind you, I like space oriented ones too. My father was sci-fi mad and I was brought up on the old pulps and BEM's. Biggest disappointment of my life when I realized I was never going to space travel.

I love this question....explains why the posts here are usually thoughtful and folks are so considerate and supportive of one another...we're past the point of big egos and such....and have you guys noticed the wealth of knowledge and experiences here that often surface when talking about different games,etc...now I know why happydance

Actually Thatldu, that's how we got our name. lol We are babyboomers that love to game. lol

I think Rick's idea of a poll is great. I doubt it will have much impact, but it may surprise publishers and give them food for thought. The publishers also need to find another way to count sales.....IMHO
