Survival is an excellent idea too. There's already one out though. Its an older combat/strategy game by Activision for Win95/98.

Survival would work with a subtitle though, doncha' think? laugh

I like Redemption. I have to give kudos to Quistor, those reasons for disliking the other titles was not only insightful but extremely funny!!!!

Thinking along the Tri line like Singer, how about Trillium something. There's a book called "Black Trillium," but maybe something like Trillium Lost or Trillium Passing or lol

The very first word that came up into my mind, even before I read your titles was: Pestilation. I read the boek la Peste from Albert Camus and it learned me how people can change when they are in fear for such an illness.Simply people became heroes and intelligent and respected men became cowards. Not speaking about them who were doing what had to be done, without asking themselves what could be their own risks. It was such a captivating story, that showed the deepest feeling of men. Feelings that you never would have known, if not in that special situation.

IMHO, City of the Damned sounds like a zombie shoot-'em-up (plus it's been done, sort of).

I'm a Pestilence man myself.

PESTILENCE = 1. a deadly epidemic disease. 2. That which produces or tends to produce epidemic disease. 3. the bubonic plague
So, how about Pestilence from the Gods or something like that?
City of the Damned would be my 2nd choice.
I like Witchen's first 2 suggestions too.
You guys are so funnnnnnnny! You just keep me

How about.."False Gods" as the title, cause I dont believe any gods would spread a disease as a punishement.Or City of the Siners(can they be saved?)

No offense to anyone, but i would not want to purchase a game where i had to look the title up in a dictionary. Sometimes it's easy to forget how "brainwashed" the general public is.

That's a good point, quistor, but I think Stephen King already has the copyright on "It". Besides, not ALL of us are brainwashed (must... Buy... All... Adventure... Games... whistle And what if someone is offended by the word "[blip]"?

Maybe it should be Village of the Darned laugh laugh

What's wrong with combining some of the suggested titles? I kinda like "Soilsore: City of the Damned" or maybe "Pestilence: Decay of Desperate Hope"? laugh In all seriousness (if that's possible at this point) I think they should go with something short and easy to remember. I like "Retribution" (good one, Witchen!) or maybe "Pandemic".

Yeah i was not trying to imply that anyone here was "brainwashed", just that the american public in general is used to having things simple. If this were not the case there would not be a "Unreal Quake Spearhead Tournament 5" but this is a whole other argument that i dont even want to get into wink

Oh...... I didn't realize that........ if so, that would be too confusing.

I'll vote for "Retribution"...... laugh

How about "The Bukan Triangle"?

Or one of my favourite film titles "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies"?

Or something like "Tromaville 2003"?

Used to answer to "Peter Smith", now answers to "Peter Rootham-Smith"

Witchen, can you ask them for another list?

It's beginning to appear that a list of titles they have already considered and rejected would be more useful.

LOL lol lol lol

I'm not sure that Buka will understand all this cryptic humor, guys, but I am sure they will much appreciate the marvelous creative input and wonderful title ideas.

As for a list of "titles they've already considered," I'm sure a certain number of repeats is to be expected and Buka can readily recognize any new and brilliant ones from the list Gameboomers' provides and compare them with their own files. However, they are reading this thread, so perhaps they'll consider sharing a list a good idea.

Best wishes, Witchen =O)

Witchen -- this is fun. When do we get our next assignment?

Quistor -- actually, I find "Unreal Quake Spearhead Tournament 5" to be rather complex. Can you explain it to me?

I would be happy to smile From what i hear it is a game where you get "Air Pulse cannon Laser artilery riffles" and you chase each other around an "Arena" trying to kill each other the fastest. most of the time there are 4 million other players trying to do the same thing. They are Dubbed "FPS's" which i believe stands for (Forget) about any originality (People) will buy these games over and over and we will be (Stinking) rich. I could of course be wrong though wink my wife tells me I am all the time.

My vote is for:

Town Name: The Retribution

For example:

TRILLIUM: The Retribution

(I like the name Trillium, whoever came up with that!)

PLAYING ON PC: World of Warcraft...nothing else...there is no need for ANY other game when you have THIS one to play!! LOL

Outbreak: Kill or Cure

(BTW - Girlgeek - Trillium was the heroine from the Hitchhiker's Guide - I have fond memories of her that need not be spoiled, thank you).

Outbreak: City of the Damned

Outbreak: City of the Damned Politicians

Outbreak: City of the Damned Politicians Who Think They Know What Is Best for Us and Never Let Us Take Care of Ourselves!!

Outbreak: City of the . . . (sorry, just ran out of breathe)
