OK, gotcha, Witchen. We'll be much more blatant with our jokes from now on. Most of my alternate names sound like incredibly hokey Agatha Christie titles : Death Comes in Threes, Third Hand of Fate, etc. I need Random House here, not Buka. How about Trident Virus? Jack

Hi there gang........More good input! Happy to see that. About "Trillium" though.....That's the name of a popular Swedish lily, I'm sure most gardeners will recognize the name. Trillium, both white and purple, grows wild in Washington State, btw, and in cooler climates all around the world. Might not envoke the appropriate image for this game, huh? Love, Witchen =o)

Reading a little of the story it has something to do with what the Gods have done to this small town. So, A title with God. Maybe like:
CURSE OF THE GODS and since the town is infected by a disease, how about, OUTBREAK. I think there was a movie called Outbreak, about small town that was infected with a desease starting Steven Segal. OR A TOWN'S DESTINY, DESTINY OF A TOWN, OR THE FAITH OF A TOWN.
Boomers have listed quite good ones so far it is going to get hard to choose from. Oh wait I thought of another one ABUSIVE POWER... OR EPICDEMIC.

Just to cloud the picture a little more, there's already a recent action game called Codename: Outbreak, so I'm not sure how eager Buka should be to include that in a title. Also, I just had to mention that the trillium is Ontario's provincial flower. ... Yes, there's no end to the perfectly useless trivia you can pick up here at GameBoomers. So how about "Pushing Up Trilliums"? (Whoops, you've all just witnessed my last ounce of good taste completely obliterated...) Jack

How about Tripolis: trifold tribulations or maybe dilemnas?

Hmmm....try these...
EPIDEMIC: The Deliverance of (town name) or Damnation of (town name)
Or use Plague instead of Epidemic....Plague seems more Biblical, Epidemic is sort of modern.
Game sounds really interesting, can't wait!!

Outbreak was Dustin Hoffman, Rene Russo and the monkey that was also on Friends (Yipes!). There is no copyright on names so anyone can use them.

How 'bout "The Plague - There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but there are only 3 ways out of the City of the Damned" If they make a sequel, it can be called "Beyond the plague of (town name, but please not "Atlantis") II, a return to the City of the Damned" Louis

Okay...from the titles given, I will put my vote in for City of the Damned. Will see if something else pops in my head but I did spend a whole day shopping so it is pretty empty right now. Sounds like a cool game tho. Reminds me kinda of the movie Outbreak. Thanks kid

I like Scourge. It makes me think of the flagellants in the Middle Ages who thought they could end the Plague by scourging themselves.
Who is the typical buyer of this game? There are people who are attracted to stark frightening names with a hint of violence. On the other hand, there are (timid, snobbish, squeamish?) people who would be put off by such a name. I would probably not buy a game called "Pestilence" for instance because it sounds uncomfortable, if not downright horrific. Maybe a more middle-of-the-road title (say, "Retribution") -- less putrid-sounding, evoking an emotion everyone understands.
On the other hand, I think some talented Boomer should definitely develop a game named "Beyond the Plague of Atlantis II: Return to the City of the Damned" strictly for whimsical reasons.
