Row, I took a black potion to get right next to her, hit her with the divine (nobleman's) sword to freeze her, and then kept hitting her with the disc spell, which also kept anything that happened to come up at bay.

Yep, I remember doing the invisible potion, hit her with blind and slashing away, I had better luck stopping saving, juicing up and doing it again. She's a nasty thing isn't she? Ingie

On the telporter, would just keep it in inventory and use the drop and use option then won't have to worry about reaching it.

Divine Divinity is over!!! <img border="0" alt=" " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" /> <img border="0" alt=" " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" /> <img border="0" alt=" " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" /> It is now one of my favourite games. Took me about a month of fairly regular playing. Definitely got my money's worth.

Hooray for Row Wasn't that great, yep money is worth it and if and when you feel the need, can replay as different character and everything brand new! I think it's great that Riftrunner and DD2 are going to a done deed. It's great to feel finished and so sad that game is not there...sigh So, which is going to be next Ingie

Congrats Row - I'm still going through DD withdrawls It made it to my all time favorite game list. Not sure I'm going to be able to hang in there until the end of the year for Riftrunner.

Syd, Just added a post to a strand that Zanthia gave 2 great websites for Morrowind that might help you out since you don't have a manual...check it out. Oh good Nickie, I hope that urge comes in strong, calling all the computer gremlins to urge you on. What did happen to that little guy-he was useful Ingie

First I would like to thank everyone in this thread who helped me grow from a weak survivor to divinity. If it weren't for Nickie, Ingie, Zanthia, Acornia, and my fellow adventurer, Syd, I may still be in some dungeon somewhere. I hope I haven't missed anyone. You guys really made me feel confortable in a new forum. Not sure if you all want to hear this, but I just loaded Morrowind. The music is wonderful. I'm still just experimenting. Syd, if you want to join me, give me a shout. Zanzarah is giving me a headache now, so I may put that one on the shelf for a while.

row, it was a pleasure to help you in DD in any way possible. i loved reading about your experiences in the game especially since you are new to the genre.
morrowind and zanzarah are very different games. change your video drivers as suggested in the other thread and it will make a huge difference to you. if it is still giving you a headache and we can't help you out then move on to another game. there are so many great rpg's out there wiating for you to play them. whichever game you end up playing you know will have a lot of help and support in playing.

Likewise Row, it has been a pleasure. I'm just excited for you that you are discovering new games and having fun with them, and it's great to have you sharing your experiences! And Zanthia is so right - playing a game is not supposed to be a chore and you don't get tested afterward, so if you don't like something put it away for another day (or not).

I want to add my thanks to Row's. I had a blast playing DD and it just added that much more to the fun playing it virtually with Row and Acornia, and having nickie, Ingie and Zanthia standing there with the help and commentary I would love to play Morrowind with you Row [I can hear the board groaning already] I have the game loaded and have played around with it a little bit but I can get serious about it anytime you're ready.

Rowan and Syd How kind you are to include your thanks to this one who needs to thank you all for the sharing of a great adventure-It really pulled on the memory cells and heart strings. Since that too was my first RPG it will always be the one I look to for a jolt of energy. What fun to play it again through the 3 of you. Acornia, have you finished? Now, as for Morrowind, come one in, the water is fine! So much to do, if like me you will find yourself there for 2 hours and think it was 15 mins. Ingie

Not yet, real life intruded. Was off a week and thought would get it done then but wore myself out worrying about test results and my parents. Mom got stuck overnight in two different hospitals and got to spend most of each day in one of them. And still docs have no idea of what is causing the chest pains. Dad and I both think it has to do with her diet as she has acid reflux. Been sleeping more since went back to work as work nights. Guess been trying to make up that sleep deficit. Think just got one more dark ring member to go before the big baddie.

Sure hope everything goes ok for your Mom, Acornia, and you can get that much needed sleep.
