We've had several cats that had to have the special food and it did the trick for many years. Those follow ups are important. I hope kitty gets better, Oldbroad. I'm having one of those days today so think I will just stay in my room with the door shut and take a day! So glad I have a computer in my bedroom on days like this Hope you all have a great one!

Good morning, all.
A lovely day here on the coast. We've got the boat on the trailer after having it serviced, so I'll give it a good scrub for algae before we get it back in the water -- hopefully my husband is up to a few more boat trips this Fall, before the Humpbacks leave.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Never easy to end a pet's life I'm recovering from 'fog' brain. One of the medications I take helps with a side affect I get from my sleep apnea. I do not have narcolepsy, but my brain is foggy first thing in the morning. This med basically works to wake up my brain. It is considered a 'controlled' substance. Presuming you all know what that means; suffice to say, I forgot to pay attention and didn't put in the request until I had taken my last pill which was last Thurs. They couldn't get in touch with my doc until yesterday. So I was without it for more days than ever before. Sleepy, headaches, not able to think about doing much of anything. Finally, picked it up yesterday morning. First time in my life I took water with me and took a pill while in the parking lot. When I worked, it used to scare me to feel this way, and was careful to not do anything that demanded a lot of concentrating, or was forced to stay home. It still amazes me the difference I feel with and without the meds. Huey's doing ok. Sometimes he drags, somethings he's eager; sometimes he eats, sometimes he doesn't. I'm learning to accept and take it one day at a time. Don't know about the rest of you, but I can't believe we're heading into Fall already The cold weather can take its time getting here, that's for sure

butterflybabe, I know how awful that fog-brain is. My Hashimoto's Hypothyroiditis went undiagnosed for at least 25 years, according to my Endocrinologist, and by the end of it I was so foggy-brained at times that I was unable to function. I had no idea what was wrong with me. Scary.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
