Good for you Jules, The controls you will get use to one day, just take your time. I agree the graphics are so beautiful. Make sure you don't hurry and check out that first town and area as much as possible, you'll get a couple of quests and you're able to get some great advise! You are now a proud member of the 'Not a Clue Club', and you'll very quickly understand why! Have a grand time Ingie

Jules, BTW, just a suggestion you may want to start posting under the Morrowind group, or open a new topic using Morrowind as the given name start, that way all those experts will jump in and help you out as much as possible. Have fun, Ingie

Well, I'm sorry I haven't replied sooner but I work full time and find it hard to find enough time to play. My female warrior is at level 10. I have just met Gen'l Alix, and I'm having fun killing orcs after a long day at work. I have one question. There are some weapons and pieces of armor I've picked up that I can't equip. I can sell them and store them away, but their names or titles are colored grey. I am strong enough or agile enough to use them, but some of them don't show what the requirements are to use them. Are there some items that only mages or other types can use? Thanks for your help! Andrea

Thank you, Ingie. I know about id'ing things. This is after they're ID'd. The name of the item is in white, grey, green and other colors. I just wondered if that meant anything. I can't seem to equip just anything, even if my strength and/or agility match or exceed requirements. This is a great game and Gameboomers is simply the best thing on the internet IMHO. Bless you all  Andrea

So glad you're enjoying the game! The colors indicate the worth of the item, in order from white being the least, grey, blue, green, yellow, gold. What items aren't you able to equip - are they something that would need you to get a certain skill to use? Or, the item that you're trying to replace with a new item - did it up your statistics, so without it you have less than what would be required to use the new item?

L2T, Nickie, I think you're right about not having the skill required to use, I know a few things like that for me, but mostly had to do with Warrior stuff. I was a thief, so I could use a lot of stuff; but I remember now that some items I wasn't able to, though nothing is coming to mind. Big shock, I know Ingie
