A gloomy, gloomy day, threatening a major rain and wind storm. There's nothing exciting happening here, except for a quick trip out for milk so I can have my morning cappucinos. The Spousal Unit has decided that cold coffee is what he wants, so I bought a cold coffee brewing urn on Amazon a few months ago. The coffee tastes almost as good as the cold brew we buy from our local coffee shop. It's a good addition to the kitchen, and it will be much apreciated in the summer.
Our Willow is being a total jerk to her buddy Dude. It's been wonderfully peaceful around here, and they cohabit nicely, but every now and then Willow breaks out in a fit of bad behaviour. Now she lurks besde the balcony cat flap and whacks him on the head when he tries to come through. Dude is going to have to man up a little bit and give her a smack in the head.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Hi Guys, Had a busy morning but now have a bit of time to spend at my computer. It's a beautiful day in AL and now that hubby is back from errands, I will head out at some point for a walk. I am healing, but not "there" yet. Connie, so sorry about your friend but glad you had a good visit. Hubby and I finished watching Reacher on Prime. Really enjoyed it. Made me want to read the book, which I read many many years ago, but as it was a library book, I don't own it. Will have to check and see if our local library has it. I hope you all have a most wonderful day!

l4l, there are probably about 20 Reacher books! This series is based on the first book. I haven't quite read them all, but it's close. We are really loving the series too. SOOOO much better than the movie with Tom Cruise.

I hope you are all enjoying the weekend. Glad to see the Reacher series is going down well: hopefully there will be more seasons. Also amused to hear of the feline sado-masochistic antics chez hagatha!

I've just finished my morning cup of Maharani Oolong Chai, which is delicate and delicious. Now I'm moving on to coffee, and then a bike ride, and then a lazy day watching TV or playing my game.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Happy Sunday ya'll it's a beautiful day in AL...blue skies, bright sun and in the 60's. Had a great walk in the neighborhood with Lil Soot and Hubby. Not running just yet but pushed the walk today. Now home and doing absolutely NOTHING which is wonderful for a change. Catching up on FBI's that I missed while gone. We have braved the world of no cable so figuring out which streaming services I want/need. I read all the Reacher books many years ago, but didn't remember anything from the series. I stopped reading the series once Child stopped writing it. I hope you all have a wonderful day doing exactly what you want

I must watch Discovery of Witches - I loved the books! I'll have to watch on my computer as hubby would not like it.
Another day of weather in the 60's F! Just a hint though, because another major winter storm is supposed to move through Wednesday and Thursday. It was so nice yesterday, I fired up the pellet grill and did a meatloaf out there!

We've got sun and wind, so it's very cold.
Our fvourite coffee shop just opened a second location five minutes from our house, so we're off for a cappuccino. I now have three different brands of coffee in rotaion, which I mostly order online -- Discovery Coffee, from Victoria (which I buy at our coffee shop), Artigiano Coffee from Vancouver, and Milano Coffee, which is international but still has a wonderful small-roastery feel to it. Milano has some very high-quality "Master" roasts in its rotation and they are stunningly good. It's coffeee heaven around here. It's my only vice, so I indulge.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
