I happen to have a nice up of chamomile tea right here, too. It's my evening tipple.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I could go for a nice Montreal-style bagel right about now. However, I've been sticking to my diet for about four months now and am starting to feel a bit more like myself, so no bagels, just a couple of cappucinos.
We've got a bright, sunny day here.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good weekend to you all. Nothing special for us: a good day at home and some TV. Take care.

Sunny and chilly. I'll have some of that Sumatra Dark Roast, soot! Then it appears I will be mowing the yard for the foreseeable future as hubby is really down in his back. The yard is about 3 acres and we have a riding lawnmower, so it's not horrible! I always used to enjoy doing it.
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

My task for the next few days will be cleaning our upper decks, which both have a couple of years of green yuck on them. The larger deck is a big job, plus it's vinyl and hard to clean. We can't power wash them because that would spray green stuff and schmutz all over our neighbour's front garden and siding, so it's a hands and knees scrub. Yesterday I tried warm wter and a biodegradable soap, and it came out very clean, but I was only able to do about 1/10 of the deck in an hour. So It'll be an hour a day until it's done -- IF my back co-operates, which is doubtlful.
I need to do a lot more work around here this spring because things have been sliding since John became too frail a couple of years ago. Better get myself in shape!

Hope you're all having a great Easter weekend: the Dark Roast will do for me every day, and then there are a few gardening tasks awaiting, but my back is also complaining at the moment! Sounds like Drac needs one of those automatic mowers or perhaps a herd of grazing animals...
Life is what happens while you're making other plans.
