And I'm outta here for a few days. Heading to Colorado for my grandson's high school graduation!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Oldbroad, Kicking Horse coffee is big here in BC, too. It's good coffee, well worth trying. Our favourite was Smart Ass, a medium roast that worked really well in a French Press.

Good Monday morning one and all! I see that Drac (aka the Human Dynamo) is taking a well-earned break: hope you enjoy the trip and the ceremony. Our old Cuisinart bean to cup filter coffee machine finally gave up the ghost after over 10 years, and as prices have tumbled we have just bought an entry level Philips coffee machine which does a brilliant job https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEyAlhaRY9w Overcast but dry here today, so hedge trimming and other garden tidying tasks will be on the agenda.

We used to have a little espresso machine, back when they were first available for homes. It made decent coffee. I've often thought about investing in a new one.
EDIT: Aha! I just saw the first Humpbacks of the year just offshore. They're just lolling around, not really headed anywhere. It's slack tide, so they may have found a pocket of food.

Another gloomy, grey day. We've had almost no good weather this spring. A few medical things to attend to today, then back to my Mass Effect marathon.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Hello everyone ... it's hump day ... and it's raining here too ... but I'm totally OK with it as the rain is refilling the underground wells, springs and aquifers ... have a wonderful afternoon! Earl Grey, Ceylon Black and Sri Lankan Black Tea in the Break Room.

Similar day here hagatha. Rained earlier and more expected later. Fits my mood though. Mine, too. Things are bad on the health front here. I seem to have hit the wall in terms of my own energy dealing with John's medical situation. We've got some Home Care now, which is easing some of it, but even so I'm just exhausted.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
