Three negative rapid COVID tests in 24 hours and I have to conclude that somehow even with all my precautions I've managed to contract a head cold, of all things. Apparently there's one going around. I suppose that's what happens when you hang around a crowded hospital for weeks and weeks. Something is bound to get through. I have one of those annoying tickle-coughs and a bit of congestion, and I'm very tired, but otherwise I'm not overly sick.

At least it gives me an excuse to be a couch potato for a few days. I was feeling like I needed a break.

I spent several hours resetting edge landscaping stones in sand because the *&$%# moles have mounds of dirt on top and tunnels underneath. I work sitting down on a garden bench so it isn't so hard on my back. Then I reset a stone walkway I built several years ago for the same reasons. Grrr...!! Tomorrow I will power wash everything and then spread new mulch. Hope to get my tomatoes fertilized tomorrow too.

Hi everybody. The break room has sure been quiet this week. I hope everyone is well and has a nice weekend.

I've been working outside all week while we have this beautiful weather. Weeding, rebuilding stone walkway, resetting edging stones... Next week it's supposed to be pushing 100° all week and I won't be doing ANYTHING outside except sitting in my pool!
