Thanks Kay - but I have already done it - all on my tod. I'VE FINISHED THE GAME. Phew, after all that the end was not what I expected. Far from it. Wont say more because I don't wish to spoil things for others. By gum, all I can think of now is a ANOTHER cup of tea, then bed. I'll be back to see you all you may be sure. Anyone know when D.D.2 will be released?

Oh Alice <img border="0" alt=" " title="" src="graemlins/bravo.gif " /> for you! I thought the game was quite good, no not DD. But after adding the patches, I had a grand time. So glad you were able to make your dead line. May God Bless and know my many prayers for you and doctors and family  Ingie

Alice, congratulations! Like Ingie said, the key will pop up. Search everything and anything -- every barrel, box, bookcase, etc. You never know where something might show up. Using the alt key will highlight things, but won't highlight barrels and chests with things in them, so make sure you pass your cursor over them. I'm still in Dungeon I of Act IV. I had a bit of a problem when I went to use my Lift Curse skill -- I kept getting knocked out of the game. It's ok now, but it was slow going for a while. I just finished level 1 dungeon and went back to trade off some stuff. I sure miss my Ranaar summoning doll. Jean

syberia 2 is a fun game. tamia, very interesting to hear you actually praise the save sytem. to me, not being able to name your saves is a negative. don't like it at all. alice, have you tried Dungeon siege yet? point n click and fast paced.

Hi Tamia: Check out this link for maps in BD: Beyond Divinity Help Maps Each battlefield (BF) has a key, and they can be found in different places. There are 6 BFs per act, each with 3 levels. The keys are sequentially numbered, but, if you find, say, BF Key 6 it will open all the other 5 in each act. Offhand I don't remember where the keys are, but looking on the maps will tell you. The Act IV BFs are really tough! It's taking me a little longer since the monsters all gang up on my people all at once as soon as they go through a door or exit. Whew! Jean

Alice, Love go into the Dark Twisty List at the top of our wonderful forum of RPG=Roll Playing Games- and you'll see a bunch. Have you played Morrowind yet, if not I recommend getting Morrowind with the expansions! Big Graphics and the story line is good and fun and with the 2 expansions you have 3 games in one about 6 months of playing time and allowing your character to grow. It's a great game...I think you'd really like it. Also, Zanzarah, but I think you tried that didn't you? If not it is one I think you would enjoy Ingie

it looks like i may be starting BD real soon. so looking for advice on character development and skills-- what is good and what to avoid. the only thing i know is that lockpicking is broken. i do tend to like warrior character with some magic abilities. are swords the best weapons? what about 1 handed vs 2 handed, etc. should my character and death knight be different or can both be warriors.
waht are the best skills to take? what are the best spells?

Hi Tamia: Everyone who has posted here so far has said lockpicking didn't work for them, so I didn't buy it. Actually, so far I've only come across a few things that I couldn't get into, because keys could usually be found. So, I guess it's up to you. Some people here didn't have luck with the disable traps skill, but a few of us really liked it. Zanthia, I usually play more of a mage with some warrior skills, so I'm not the best person to give advice on a warrior character. For a mage, it's best to get a ranged weapon so you can stand back and let the heavy duty warriors get in there. My Death Knight is a warrior, however, and I have him very heavy in two handed weapons (swords, etc). I started out one handed with shields, but the further along I got the more I used two handed. I guess it just depends on what your two characters are going to be. I love swords, but, as I said, for my main character ranged weapons seem to work better. I finally finished BF 1 in Act 4! Jean

Tamia, I never was able to use lockpick skills so bought them back. Costly - gets more costly in each Act. I also never used the dolls. DK and Karen were doing so well I just didn't give them a thought. Zanthia - I played with DK as a strong two handed weapon warrior and the main character as a surviver (Using cross-bows all the time - she was fantastic with cross-bows) and also used Shaman magic tools. Hammer and Meteorite. Had I not been so dim-witted the game would have been a cinch Have just taken the plunge and bought Morrowmind and two extensions - couldn't find the third. Hope it is a good as Ingie recommended. Though when I will be able to play again is anyone's guess. Will have some idea in about two weeks from now. I did notice Dungeon Siege in the passing but to date have not been able to find the story line - puzzled as to how a game concerning dungeons could have so many add-ons. Me being dim-witted again. Good gaming everyone - will meet up with you all again one day. Blessings for all your past help. Alice

There are only two expansions with Morrowind Alice. Tribunal and Bloodmoon. I loved the game and it kept me going for months. Not DD; but so much to it..you'll like it and you'll love how large everything is Don't rush with it. In the first town spend a lot of time talking and walking about and poking your nose into things. Just remember to always save before poking your nose in or even reading a book..you could wind up in the pokey Ingie

Bless you Ingie - that puts my mind at rest. The games will not ariive until somewhere around the 19th July. On that date it is doubtful if I will be able to see well enough to install the game, yet alone play it Last time I literally saw EVERYTHING in red for a whole fortnight! Should I install the game and the two expansions at the same time - they don't, for instance, intermingle? I expect you realised I read Morrowind as Morrowmind! Didn't even notice it was different when I ordered it from Amazon. Have a good mind to shelve Syberia 2 and Journey to the Centre of the Earth. The characters behave so stiffly and unnaturally. It becomes boring. The alternative is to follow to the letter a walkthrough for each just to know what happens. If you see what I mean? It has crossed my mind to relax by playing D.D. again. Please, please, let D.D.2 arrive soon. God Bless. Alice

Alice, I agree, load all at one time. The reason is that each expansion has the patches and therefore you don't have to download anything. You will have references made to the different locations and actually can travel there anytime you want, but they are harder and your character needs to be developed to rather high levels or you will be killed, but fun to go to just to see. Morrowind is an extremely large game and will keep you busy for a long time. I highly recommend ordering the Strategy Guide for Morrowind..it really comes in handy as the game is so huge and diverse. I think you can pick it up at Amazon for a good price..I used it and used it and used it. In my prayers for the eye operation.

Didn't expect to be back so soon. Ingie - have gone crosseyed scrolling down strategies at Amazon - got into 200 odd out of 1000 odd when my eyes packed up. Can you help, please.
