Well, the monsters in the burned forest won't fight me anymore and the alchemist won't talk to me. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Hmm... That never happened to me. Are the monsters red but won't fight? Is it all of them or just one stuck behind something? Do other people talk to you? I did notice a few bugs in the game but nothing that bad. Try getting everything the alchemist wants and see if that makes him talk. Also have you tried reloading your game and going back to an earlier save?

I had one of my people get stuck on the wrong side of dungeon walls before but was able to solve it by having the "free" person go to a different level where they would both appear.

The monsters have the red circle and I have met all the requirements for the alchemist at this point. No one is stuck anywhere and I have the latest patch on the game.

Maybe the forum has some information on that particular quirk?

I'm in Act 3 now. Just looking around and killing monsters and then popped over to check out the battlefield. Haven't been to the temple yet.

It looks like I have a cache problem and have to delete the contents of a couple of files. I hope I don't mess this up, but from hard experience I will back the files up first. I'll let you know.

in act 3, i go to the keeper in the temple and ask to see the rank. He says I am now rank 1( i have beaten Kiya) yet I am not listed at all. is this normal or is this something to be concerned about?

I don't think you're on the list after given the 1st rank..you should be able to get inside the temple now, or requested to go.

I had to clear the contents of the Beyond Divinity /Act2/Dynamic file and then add two files to my current save game that Larian donated to clear up the problem. Some other players have had the problem so they were prepared for my solution. Moving on- I hope.

Glad you can keep going! I hate running into dead ends!

I'm now running around trying gain ranking on the list.

i am nearly done.

finished the game today. it looks like the ending left it open for a sequel.

still looking forward to DD2 but hope they return to the form that made DD so great. while i enjoyed BD, it is far inferior to DD.

<img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/bravo.gif " /> Zanthia! We have about a year to wait on DD2, so I think it was more of a tide us over til then. But I still really enjoyed the game - it's tough to measure up to a game like DD that everyone loves so much.

I agree; I enjoyed BD; but no other game for me has measured up to the fun of DD
