I also love the Tex Murphy games. Chris Jones is beyond perfect in his role as Tex. They could easily have made a successful television series based on that character.
I started replaying Pandora Directive recently, but decided to wait and see if the remake would be completed sooner or later. It wasn't until I read this thread that I realised that it has been put on hold.

While the original game still has its charm, I did find the movement pretty clunky and rather difficult. This is no fault of Access Software by any means, since they more or less invented the system, and it was extremely innovative at that time. But time has proven that pushing your mouse backwards and forwards isn't the best way to move around in a scene.
