I started a replay of Lost Chronicles of Zerzura. Going well so far. A nice regular point and click adventure!

I've had Lost Chronicles of Zerzura since it first came out, and have never played it. I bought the DVD version on Amazon in 2012. I just loaded it up and it plays well on Win 10. I guess I'll give it a go. Better late than never.

I hope you enjoy the game, Uncle Reg! I don't remember it too well but I know I did like it. Let us know!

Zerzura is a game that I kept hoping would come to GOG. The game is designed by the same people that did Black Mirror 2 and 3, correct? I think that is how it originally got my interest.

I have been playing the old Ankh games. I only have #3 on my new computer but I have the other 2 on my old computer. they are quite fun - except a lot of running around. I found out that I like #2 the best. so, good times with old friends.

I have all three games from GOG and haven't played any of them yet. I look forward to it. smile

I have played all 3 games two times each. It doesn't seem like the replay was too long ago but apparently it was prior to 2018 which is when I started keeping track. Yes, there is a lot of running around and some very long treks in at least one area, but the games were fun! I can't say which I liked best though because it has been long enough that I can't remember specifics about what was in each game.

Thank you for posting mbday630, and thank you for moving the post, Marian!

yes, thank you for moving my post. You guys are the best ever! Back to Ankh, lots of running around, but, all in all, good games. the first 2 games I got from some obscue game site that is now deleted but luckil, I i have them on my old computer. Number 2 is my favorite by far so far. so, now to find a new game to entice me.

lol Thanks Ana!

Well, if anything happens, you can always buy the games from GOG. They go on sale often I think. Right now the 2nd game is on sale for 1.24. Let us know what you decide on next, mbday630.

I'm replaying Unforseen Incidents. One of my all time favourites.

Same here regarding Unforseen Incidents, except my game is not from GOG. I've had it since 2018. I do have it installed and waiting laugh.

I started Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill Remastered this afternoon and am taking my time and enjoying it very much. I played it years ago during a time in my life when I was really burned out and tired and I don't think I ever even finished it. I am happy with my choice. smile

Have fun with it Marian! I finished Lost Chronicles of Zerzura a few days ago but haven't started anything else yet. Maybe I should do a Nancy Drew. I haven't played one since 2021. scared Next up would be Trail of the Twister. I'll have to see.

Mostly, yes! I started getting stuck more in the second half of the game. The worst part though, is every time I moved my cursor towards the bottom of the screen, the inventory bar popped open. Argh! Have you ever played the game, Marian? You didn't actually say when you posted about hoping it would show up on GOG.

Well, I went ahead and started Trail of the Twister but I may just be done with the game already. Very frustrating. I somehow made it to the store but I have no idea how to get back to the whatever the place is where I'm staying. I have no idea what direction it is in. The GPS is not helpful to me. I have crashed around 10 times already. NOT fun!

Edit: Well, there is hope for me I guess. I made it back to the farm!

Glad to hear you made it back to the farm! I did not mind the driving around all that much. It's pretty forgiving and you will find your way around in no time. I quite liked the game, although it does not seem to be one of the more popular ones in the series.

I finished Secrets Can Kill: Remastered and am now playing Stay Tuned for Danger, which I have only played once several years ago.

So, Marian, did you enjoy Secrets Can Kill? How is Stay Tuned for Danger going? I actually think I remember parts of those games.

I am making progress in Twister but I don't care much for the chores in this game. I'm a little better with the driving but still crashing A LOT. Too many mouse hunts and that gopher (whatever they were) thing, my mouse didn't seem to want to respond well so it was a real chore. It doesn't show in my "task list" but I know I haven't taken all the cloud photos I need because of the driving and the lack of feedback on whether or not my pictures are good. I gave up on that until that's all I have left to do.

Yes, I did enjoy Secrets Can Kill. I plan on replaying the original Secrets Can Kill also, but it's not a priority. Stay Tuned for Danger is coming along fine.

If I am remembering correctly, I never did take all the cloud photos in Trail of the Twister and it mattered not. Maybe it matters for an achievement? But I know I got through the game without a complete set. The gopher thing I kind of enjoyed - I guess they were prairie dogs?

Yes, prairie dogs. I finished the game today. Not sure what's up next.

Well, I hope you got some enjoyment out of the game. i liked it a lot, but mine seems to be a minority opinion. smile

The next ND game, Shadow at the Water's Edge, is awfully good - and not at all easy. That's how I experienced it, anyway. One of the longest ND games, too.
