Sounds good, SQF. In fact, that's exactly what I did today, except that I watched TV instead of reading. With a large black cat in my lap, and another one on the (ahem!) dining room table behind me.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Sounds good, SQF. In fact, that's exactly what I did today, except that I watched TV instead of reading. With a large black cat in my lap, and another one on the (ahem!) dining room table behind me. Now this made me smile. And it's something every cat guardian (no one owns a cat) would understand. We managed to keep up the fiction that cats weren't allowed on the table as long as we only had the one cat, but when Dude appeared on the scene we gave up the pretense. Now he sits up there all the time, and I have a cat tablecloth and a human tablecloth.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

One of my "outdoor" cats becomes an indoor cat when it gets cold. Her place is on top of the dining room table. She is short-haired, but has extremely dense fluffy hair, so there is cat hair by the bucket! I put a special towel on top of my lovely tablecloth for her. Cats have staff is the perfect description!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.
