I came across Voodoo Kid and thought it deserved posting. Released back in 1997 it was one of a kind at the time. Reviews from both Steam and GOG are VERY postive. Some calling it a nostalgic adventure, a gem, a blast from the past. Voodoo Kid can be completed in 1 to 2 hrs. "Very simple, short and sweet." The voice heard on the Steam video reminded me of Henry Stauf from the 7th Guest - $5 ends 19 WalkthroughThimbleweed Park - $ Depends ends 19...Check out the FREE "Mini- Adventure" (WIN 10) where you can "Sample a new adventure game engine by Ron Gilbert, who created Lucasfilm’s SCUMM engine and classic games Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island back in the day." The Trials - $0.79 ends 19 Night Reverie - $7 ends 20 Hazel Sky - $17 ends 20 Willy Morgan - $ 10 ends 20 WIN 10 - Little Orpheus - $11 ends 20 win 10 - SCP: Secret Files - $13 ends 20 Catie in Meowmeowland - $11 ends 21 WIN 10 - Wayward Strand - $18 ends 22 Whateverland - $18 ends 22 Darkside Detective - Series Edition - $ Depends ends 22 Chinatown Detective Agency - $17 ends 23 Little Misfortune - $5 ends 24 NORCO - $12 ends 25

Yeah It's back....Still no power. Went out Thurs morn 330am. Running off a gen. Finally hooked computer up. We had 50/60mph sustained winds with 100mph gusts. Was a long night. We were very lucky. The eye was tracked right over us but went 20/30 miles to the east instead so we avoided the worst of the storm. We had a lot of debris pickup and some in the area lost their fences
Thank you for the concerns. Hope your friend is ok...Hey oldbroad!

Hi Connie, was just over reading the breakroom. Glad you are ok. We always loose power when they come through. When Irma came through in 2017 it knocked our power out for 6 days. We had to stay at one of those nice Rosen Hotels on International Blvd offered for penny's on the dollar like he does when these come through. We lost $100's in food. I said never again even though the stay was very nice. Got a gen this time and it worked out just great. I have everything up and running. We have never had to boil water. What's up with that?? Just in certain areas depending?

I'm glad you are doing OK Orion. The boil water alert is because of several water main breaks. I can't believe we didn't lose power as we usually do. Yes, we also bought a generator after Charlie came thru.

I started this "Sales Thread" back in April. It started out light in the beginning and became a nice project for me, one I have enjoyed. I can only hope many have found games interested in and have had a good time playing them. Over the past 5 months I have learned a thing or two about game sales. For one Steam has these Folders saved allowing them to quickly change sales out weekly adding a "newly released" game here and there along with what I call an "off the wall" game, one I have not seen on sale before or heard of. Steam also has these "Special Promotions" they run for 2/3 days that start whenever they choose for what ever games they choose. Going through Steam's posts and my inventories twice a week I catch them from time to time posting them I am sure you have noticed some games getting posted by me number of times. The reason for this is the game has a better discount that I believe some are waiting for before purchasing or have passed on for now wanting to purchase at a later date. I have been removing some of these games from my Folders especially those that were released before 2020. I try to post newer games released going back to 2020 for the most part. When Steam discounts a "newly released" game they usually are the same games over and over for awhile and eventually get swapped. Steam does not like to give discounts on these newer games for awhile and that is understandable yet at the same time this puts a hold on one playing the game until a descent discount is offered I have compiled some Folders over the months giving me a larger search range instead of just looking through Steam's "Point & Click" and "Adventure" game sales which can consist of up to 2000+ games. The Folders I have created get added to pretty much on a weekly basis. These Folders consist of: Newly Released - 100 games. Most announced by Ana back going back to 2020 along others I have found searching Franchises (Developers/Publishers) - 70 - Some carrying 1 game and other as many as 30+. Sometimes a Franchise will put their entire lot up for sale and I"ll post it. For the most part I search for a game within the Franchise for a sale. Clicking on "Discounts" while in a Franchise clears games not on sale making it simple Bundles - 90 - Can be 2 games per bundle or or as many as 10+. I look for Bundle deals or games on sale within the Bundle. I'll check the Bundles on game pages as well to see what they offer and if there is some sort of deal I'll post it. Watch For- 129 games. Games with high ratings and nice discounts The time has come for me to trim back the amount of sale links I can post. I am going to be searching for games in my "Newly Released" Folder that covers games released back to 2020 that Ana has announced here on GB. I will be only posting these sales. These might be trimmed back as well depending on how many are on sale. I don't know yet. This weeks posting will tell. When on a game page you can check for more sales by clicking on the "Publisher" link top right or down below "System Requirements" where there is another link "More From This Publisher". Click on "See All". Here there is also a link "More Like This". Again click on "See All". Always check Bundles. You can go back to my first post for game sales as well. Now if you have some time you can run through all 'Steam Sales" . I would scan through that link looking for one of those "off the wall games" finding a few here and there worth posting . I have seen as many as 82,000 games listed here. As far as GOG, Humble and Epic go...I check them out as well and from time to time and have posted sales from them and will continue to look them over. These sites do not always get newer released games like Steam and don't have nearly the games Steam offers. That is why you have seen more Steam games posted then the other sites. I also believe those who only purchase from these sites have them covered very well. I have had a good time bringing discounted games to you and will continue to do so just not as involved. I am sure you will get those discounted games you need/want one way or the other having "Wishlisted" them along with your own searches. I will post "Newly Released" sales tomorrow, Tuesday

I am sure you have noticed that Steam is running NEXT FEST , a celebration of upcoming games running through Oct 10th. You can change Tags to your liking by clicking on "NARROW BY" in the "BROWSE DEMOS" box. I have them set to Adventure, Puzzle and Point & Click. I can't get this link to start at the top. Don't know why Blood Nova - Ana announced BN Wed. Right now there are 22 Reviews all . With a 15% off "Introductory Offer" BN is going for $10 ending 10th. For a better look check out this Walkthrough and flotsam's First Look
