The last four games I have played (including the new 'catch') have all contained the puzzle where you slide a piece of paper under the door and push the key through with a sharp object. Elementary, my dear Watson! 🤣😁😎🥱

The first game I played where I can remember doing that was Phantasmagoria. It seemed novel at the time.

I too love Phantasmagoria. I have played and replayed it, and yet thinking about it makes me want to play it again. I am pretty sure that I would see something new were I to do so. Must play it again soon.

I didn't play the second one, but remember that there were 2 versions of the first one and the "uncensored" version was scandalous and banned in some locations. "Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within" was also released that year.
