I'm close to the end of the bonus game in "Ms. Holmes : The Monster of the Baskervilles [CE]" now and have to say the whole game has been excellent !! Right up my street EDIT : OK. Totally finished Ms. Holmes now and very much enjoyed it And I've installed "Dark Alleys : Penumbra Motel" for my next play. [I think it might be an old game but I've never played it before. It does have a strategy guide included though and is looking as though it will have a pretty decent story - from the opening scenes ]

I'm very much enjoying the Penumbra Motel game but it definitely encompasses some complicated puzzles !! [I've come up against a couple where I've just HAD to consult the guide ]

Yes. I have no doubt I'll need to consult it again, too, at some stage

I am replaying "Secrets of the Dark ~ Eclipse Mountain," and really loving it. This game has everything I want: lots of depth, lots of different scenes, original ideas (morphing scenes, for one example), a high degree of complexity, a wide variety of puzzles (some of which are unique), good graphics, etc. There are plenty of HO scenes but none is particularly difficult (although some items are small). I would love to hear from anyone about games similar to this one. One of my Top Ten.

I haven't played that game Reenie but I have it along with the other 3 in the series. Have you played any of those? Maybe they are similar. https://adventuregamers.com/gameseries/view/21325
