Does this game have a CE version?
There is a Steam thread here where the developer states that the Collector's Edition includes a strategy guide as well as bonuses. I don't know if the Big Fish version has these items - someone else would have to tell us that. If it does, then the Big Fish release is the Collector's Edition. I do know that it contains all five episodes of the game.

The only one I can find on Big Fish is the one that is linked to in the 1st post in this thread. It doesn't say CE, and it's only $6.99 for members, which is their normal SE price. The reason I'm asking is because there is a CE BOGO going on now at Big Fish.
It wouldn't be part of the CE sale, no.

This game is fantastic. I am so involved in exploring, fiddling with things, solving puzzles. So much like a "real" Adventure game from years ago.
Does anyone know how to silence the monotonous sound track that bangs away while you work every puzzle? There aren't separate Menu choices for the various aspects of the game (voices, music, background...) Currently, I am having to dial down my speakers to Zero every time I start a puzzle in order to escape that tense music that adds stress to the sequence (plus, the musical theme lingers in the mind like a nagging musical earworm).

Hi Reenie, Agree 100% on the horrid music during the puzzles! I did the same thing in turning off the sound each time I started a puzzle. Also, searched the web for a how to mute that sound, but couldn't fine anything.
Finished the game and truly enjoyed it, hints available even though it wasn't called a CE game. To bad there isn't a sequel. I would buy it in a minute. Have you finished it Reenie?

Oh, yes, I do have a volume control on my computer, OldBroad. I had been turning it all the way down for each puzzle, then turning it back up again. The thing is, the puzzles are very frequent, and I'm getting irritated by having to roll the knob down and then back up for every puzzle. There are too many other great games out there to play. I don't feel compelled to stay with one that becomes more annoying than fun.

I have this game from Steam and a few days ago while going through my library downloading some games I saw this posted on the game:
"Hello, all!
We're pleased to announce that HitPoint Studios has been acquired by Penn National. Unfortunately, for both business and legal reasons, that means we will be removing our products from Steam and other platforms. Those that have purchased Adera previously should still have access to the game.
Thank you so much for enjoying our game!"
This sounds to me like the game is no longer available for sale anywhere and it is not on Steam, but a search on Big Fish still shows it available for purchase there. Not sure what that means or even why I'm sharing this info but thought it might interest somebody. The post is over a year old.
I decided to start the game today and am still in Episode 1 but I am enjoying it quite a bit so far.
Edit: Wouldn't you know. I am back in the game but all of a sudden the text at the top of the screen is starting to go away too fast before I can read it. Argh!
2nd Edit: Just finished Episode 1. So far, I'm not noticing anything bad about the music during the puzzles or at any other time.
