Not having hot water is the absolute worst. I'm glad this is sorted out.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good morning; I'm so glad you got your water pipe fixed Draclvr, that's the last thing you needed especially over the holidays. All the running around, cooking & baking for Christmas has hit me today, I'm done in, so supper tonight is going to be toasted turkey sandwiches, I'm not doing a thing. Stay warm everyone.

We are awfully quiet... perhaps recovering from Christmas festivities!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

There's a great meme going around Facebook... "Look at the weather being all cute and springy after she tried to kill us last week!" Supposed to be 64°F today. One week ago it was -8°F with 50 mph wind gusts and snow.
My son and his family are coming over tonight and I'm making home made pizza for them.

Good Morning and Happy last Friday of 2022! Missed the break room yesterday...internet was down...had to get a new modem. Our weather has changed...sunshine and warmer temps...was 43 degrees when I got up this morning! It is going to be a mild week in the 50s for the start of 2023. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready for the day. Have a Great day everyone! Gerry

Happy New Year's Eve, everyone! We also celebrate at home. We will go in town and have a couple of beers at a local tavern with friends this afternoon and then will head home. I'm going to cook a nice dinner and open a bottle of wine. Tomorrow morning we will head in town for a steak and Bloody Mary breakfast at the American Legion. I will be making a big roaster full of ham and beans with the ham bones left over from the Christmas dinner there. I will also be making a pot of Texas Style Black Eyed Peas for luck in the new year. I got this recipe many years ago from a member here and at MM... Melia. We will take those back in to the American Legion about 5:00.
Then I hope to totally vegetate for a week!
