I have been following the clues to several exits but still haven't found the final exit. Help please! duh

I'm wondering if this works without any specific order of things being done, but...
try turn around and exit from what looks to be the entrance. might not work unless you did things, but that is the exit later

No that didn't work. Was there something that I was supposed to do first? I have been following the hints.

OK, well the "explanation" for that area, can be seen I think like 2 or 3 steps ahead from the start and then turn left.
On the wall you can see an icon/painting and that will change once you've gone through those exits.
I might get a few steps wrong here, and I can check if it doesn't help. But that is the sort of sollution to this area =)

It's quite funny, I have tested the game on my own and only by using the hints.
But when someone asks a question, I seem to forget all of it hahaha.
I can see the explanation in this case in my head, but I might not explain it very good.

The painting keeps changing and I follow the clues to the different exits but always end up back at the beginning.

Well, in the end the exit is the entrance so to speak. I'll go check myself to make sure I'm not lying

OK, just tried it. This is the order you use the exits.
1. the wooden door with the cross on it
2. the hole in the wall on the ground level
3. the exit next to the hole in the wall
4. the entrance (where you start, just turn around and exit)

Thanks Marian. I'm OK but have been too occupied for too long with too many things. (that's a lot of toos for you lol)
I'm hoping again to sort life out, and coming here is a very nice resting spot honestly.
Hope to see you all even more. =)

oK, I am to use the key found in the cardboard box to open a narrow passage in the servants quarters but I can't find the passage! I don't see any keyhole. I have searched all of the outbuildings and nothing! Where is this passage?

It's not clear to me if you have found the servants quarters or just not the door.
But I'm guessing you didn't find the building, which is located on the right side just after the bridge (I think it was a bridge anyway lol)
But basically, it's on the right side before you reach the big fancy house or any other houses.
(this is from the start of the area btw)

I was in the wrong area. I was thinking the servant's quarters were behind the mansion even though I had been to the quarters earlier in the game. I am always getting lost or turned around! woozy Thank you Kim for directing me to the right location! haha I found the door! joy2

I haven't counted (or maybe I did years ago when researching these games) but it's a safe bet that the last games have a lot more locations than the first ones.
And the stories get more elaborate and deep as well, so I think probably everyone gets lost at some point.
Next time I will probably need to write everything down and see if I can go through the entire game without using any help. smile

I have gotten to where the icon/painting is now a green figure with a purple up arrow but can't figure out what to do next. Am going around in circles.

Sounds like an exit sign, so that should be the door next to the hole in the wall. To the left of it.

I am supposed to examine a bone lying on the right side of the path leading to the pit. I have been up and down the path looking for it. Where is it?

Ok Marian. I will repeat my question.

I'm sorry, even though testing it my memory is lacking. Can you just tell me what you did before this or if there's a hint? Just something to get me in the area =)

I did what I was supposed to do with the computer found in Daria's allotment. Then I had to go to the derelict workshop and search some rooms. After that I can't remember what happened next except that I went back to the game and was then sent to Eelview Pit. I am supposed to examine a bone on the right side of the path leading to the pit. The hint says to dig into the Eelview Pit.

I haven't played the game, but do you need a shovel to dig?

Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.
