Once I'm finished with TWD I'm going to watch the last season of You, I think. It's like American Psycho for the Instagram generation.
On my list still to watch are the last season of Better Call Saul, which will require a re-watch of the whole series), the last season of Peaky Blinders, and the newest season of Narcos.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I recently mentioned The English, and was having a subsequent discussion with myself about whether it made it into my Top 5 of single season dramas. Which kind of brings us full circle back to Mare of Eastown. As I write, (anthology seasons count, and I have no doubt I have forgotten some worthy possibilities) I reckon my list might be Giri/Hadji, Godless, Zero Zero Zero, True Detective (the first season) and The Night Of. Mare of Eastown, The English and The Little Drummer Girl would be pressing their nose against the window demanding entry. The Terror (the first season) might be as well. I really like the contained nature of single seasons. Tell a story, finish it, and move on. What others demand consideration?

I love the Haunting of Hill House and the Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass, each one a complete story and all of them vey good.

Good points hagatha I wasn’t as taken with Bly Manor as the other two but Mr Flanagan does do this stuff well.

Midnight Mass is pretty creepy. It's very good.

Mad; Salem's Lot is a really good movie, I have it on DVD.

Yes. Mine is the DVD version, too, Judith. In fact most of my favourite films are DVD versions because I don’t “subscribe” to anywhere for any. I just pay my BBC costs and buy anything else myself 😑

I'm with flotsam on rating the first series of True Detective very highly, also on disliking some of the shows which seem to be stretched to more than one season without good purpose. One of my all time favourites series was the Sarah Connor Chronicles, an excellent expansion of the themes in Terminator, I was also keen on the Hannibal series (although it needs quite a strong stomach!), and on a lighter note Justified.

Justified is in my top 10 of all time, I think. Timothy Olyphant defined the role so well that Elmore Leonard's next book changed the character to suit Olyphant's interpretation. High praise, indeed!
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Justified was an excellent series. I would recommend "Line of Duty" to anyone who has not watched the series...extremely engrossing with lots of twists and turns and surprises! It is a BBC series that ran for 6 seasons and there is to be a 7th.

Justified was one of my top 10 too. I didn't know that about Timothy Olyphant, but high praise indeed!

I finished TWD last night, and thought the ending was pretty good, tying up some things but also keeping the door open for the Further Adventures Of... TWD series that will be starting soon. The complete change of pace and focus was much appreciated after the rinse-and-repeat seasons later in the series, and the new Walker variants are intriguing Since the final season of You popped up on my screen immediately following the TWD finale, I think I'll watch that next.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I think I'm getting close to the last episode of TWD. They seem to be tying up loose ends and eliminating bad guys. Trying not to blaze through it too fast!

I'm watching Season 4 of You, which I understand is the last season.
I like the new premise; Joe is trying to clean up his act and have a trouble-free life. But of course, the best laid plans and all...especially if you're a charming but obsessive psychopath.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I too enjoyed Sarah Connor Chronicles Lex. Ditto Justified. I remember first seeing Timothy Olipahnt in an early season of Damages (another series that should have stopped before it did). I didn't know that about Elmore Leonard hagatha but can't imagine a better portrayed Raylan Givens.

While waiting for the second half of You to drop in March, I decided to try The Watcher. I'm not all that impressed. In spite of all the mystery and action I find myself a bit bored by it all.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I'm re-watching Sanditon Seasons 1 and 2 in preparation for the new Season 3 coming on PBS March 19th. If you haven't seen it the series is based on the unfinished novel by Jane Austin...it is really good.

I decided to watch The Lincoln Lawyer. So far it seems to be following the book very closely. It's pretty good.

Just watched the series ending of TWD. Exactly the right ending, but I still cried. We know Rick is alive somewhere and assume Michonne is too, so SURELY there will be a sequel! I'm ready, so bring it on!
