We now have fresh snow on top of ice. Really horrible.

I'm low on groceries, too. I might actually have to haul out the bread machine and try out my sourdough starter, which is getting very sour-smelling and very bubbly.

Finally, the snow is melting, at least it is here. Apparently Vancouver is taking another hit, though.

Happy Hump Day! Another morning for double dark brew, strong tea, and dark hot chocolate! We got about 8 inches of snow yesterday. It will warm into the 40s today so it will start to melt. Planning on staying home...gaming, puzzling, and watching Season 2 of Sanditon.

Light rain here and no bad thing after an unusually dry February, and a possible excuse for some gaming...

My preferred morning dose of caffeine is currently provided by Monsoon Malabar coffee beans from India: very rich flavour but quite smooth.

I'm drinking some Amaretto coffee but it is not as flavorful as it used to be. I need to find a new source.

Hi everyone, I'll drink whatever is available ... that includes lots of instant coffee when I'm busy at work, have a wonderful afternoon and evening.

I used to enjoy instant coffee but haven't had it for a long time. I have 3 jars in my cabinet though, 2 of which are open. Does it go bad?

I imagine it eventually loses taste and aroma the longer it goes past its 'best by' date but it is freeze dried
