We are getting about 16 inches of snow over the next week, with five inches already. Our internet connection works only intermittently, so I will be here when I can. It is so cold, but not as cold as Alberta!

74 degrees for our high today and the high tomorrow is only supposed to be 39 degrees.

I managed to waste the entire day today. Somehow it just slipped away without a single thing getting done.

Tomorrow I have to get back to my donation box-packing and delivering. I dug out my 35-year-old Kitchen Aid mixer. I haven't even looked at it for 15 years, so I guess it's off to the Thrift store tomorrow. It still works perfectly and I have the attachments for it, so somebody will get a good deal.

We are going to have a cold windy day today...temps will drop as the day progresses...by late today single digits but nothing compared to Judith's temps!

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. Shopping is on today's agenda. Dinner and karaoke at the Eagles tonight. Yesterday we went to the nursery to plant shop. The freeze got a lot of our plants, some will come back but not all of them.

Extra strong double dark coffee and bagels for Saturday morning! Thank you Gerry and Connie. Chores, projects and recharing batteries on the docket for this weekend. Thanks TaintedFury and wishing you a good night's rest! We had one of those day's last weekend Hagatha and Lex where we spent the day watching movies (The Woman King, The Gray Man and Extraction) ... it was marvelous! Some times those days are a must. Yikes! It's really snowing. I have a very long driveway and an important legal appointment on Monday morning. This could be a nasty weekend of shovelling.

It stopped for a while, but it's started again. It's now horrible wet snow, which will turn to Ice. My neighbour has a truck and she'll drive me in, since the snow now weighs tons and there's no way I can plow the whole driveway.

I cannot help suspecting that hagatha may make the hazardous journey for that important meeting while the lawyer uses the weather as an excuse to stay at home...

The roads will be cleared downtown, and there have been many trucks go by on our street so there are tracks to drive in. My driveway is the only problem. It's a very long driveway. As soon as it's light I have to start shovelling. There is more snow forecast but at least if I can get the driveway cleared, it won't keep getting deeper and deeper.

I can still get a ride if I have to.

But this is another reason to move; it's impossible to hire someone to plow here, because the need is only once or twice a year and it's not worth anyone's time for contracts that small. As I get older clearing that driveway will be more and more difficult.

We are expecting our first significant snow fall this evening thru tomorrow with 4 to 8 inches of snow. We have had a snow free winter so far...very unusual!

Off to the grocery store early this morning and running errands later.

Bah! It's snowing again! Can't see five feet. I guess I'll have to rely on my friend to get into town. She's got a big truck.

Tornado sirens going off by me and my back yard is now a lake. Looks like spring has sprung!
