It Seems We’re Golden Mr Holmes | Sherlock Holmes The Awakened Goes Gold + Release Date Announced. A new trailer along with details of price and preorders go live.
Originally released in 2006, The Awakened is a full remake and substantial rewrite being rebuilt and redesigned from the ground up to run in Unreal Engine 4.Check out the release date trailer here.6 March, 2023 - Kyiv, Ukraine + Dublin, Ireland | Ukrainian developer Frogwares can now confirm that Sherlock Holmes The Awakened has gone gold and the team can focus on preparing the game for release on multiple platforms.
With the game content complete and playable from start to finish, the team felt confident to also set a release date - April 11, 2023. To mark the news, a new trailer that delves more into the cosmic, Cthtulu-inspired horror of the game has been released.
The Awakened will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, XB1, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The game will have 3 editions available:
Standard Edition | $ 39.99 / 39.99 EUR | All platforms
Deluxe Edition | $ 49.99 /49.99 EUR | All platforms Includes full game + side quests packs + 6 exclusive outfits
Premium Edition | $ 54.99 / 54.99 EUR | PC Only Includes full game, side quest packs + 6 exclusive outfits + digital artbook and soundtrack
With a date now in place, the team has been able to launch pre-orders on all major digital storefronts. Players will receive 3 custom outfits for Holmes and Watson as a bonus for pre-ordering the game. Happy Gaming!

Thanks, BrownEyedTigre  This is my absolute favourite Sherlock game from Frogwares so I'm hoping it might eventually become available from a DRM Free site - like GOG

Thank you SO much, oldbroad. Pre-ordered it now  I hadn't looked at GOG myself as I don't remember it ever being mentioned that they would carry it !! [But that could just be my bad memory, of course  ]

Yes. Pricey indeed !! I actually don't buy as many Adventure games these days. So many are not to my taste. But I made an exception for this one because it has a great story and I loved the original version. So I'm hoping I won't regret my decision

On Feb 3 a Demo was released for awhile and then removed. A DEMO is back up along with a Developer Play Broadcast for a short period of time, during the The Storyteller's Festival which Frogwares is a part of. There is a Demo Playthrough if you would rather watch it along with more videos to check out HERE My experienace with Demos......when Demos are removed from a game THEY ARE REMOVED! That means from your computer as well. I had a few demos on my computer some played some not. When I tried to start one up that I had already played I was taken to Steam's main page or to that game. I don't remember. Checking out why this happened I saw that the Demo was no longer available. Demos that I had not played where the Demo had been removed did the same. If you are intested in playing the Demo get it and play it before it goes away. I do not know why Demos get removed on certain games at different times but they are. Some on release, some before release, some after release staying up for awhile and some never going away. Enjoy the DEMO!
