I picked up Figment from Steam yesterday. Reviews (or maybe just one) on GOG say their version is not updated. I have no clue if that is correct and accurate information though.

Steam's "Spring Sale" has ended

Thanks Orion! I just spent several hours of my life looking at the Steam sale. Now I'll think about it for a few days and then maybe buy something. The GOG sales are easy for me - they almost never have anything I'm interested in.

THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED

There seems to be an issue with chosing "tags" in the "Narrow By" section during this Spring Sale. No matter what tags are chosen nothing seems to change, game count and games listed. Would someone please check this out and let me know if this is a Steam issue or mine using this link:

Changing the price does work but for ALL "tagged" Adventure games, the title all the way to the top of page- some 18,000 games. Depending what price level use choose the amount of games listed will vary

That's one reason why I wishlist a lot of games and also have a spreadsheet of other games that interest me but not necessarily enough to wishlist (the list would get way out of hand). Then I just check the ones on my lists, which gives me way more games than I can purchase at one time anyway. I usually check the weekly sales and sometimes find games that way that I might have missed that aren't on either of my lists, but I will not go through 18,000 games.

Mad, I already own most of what GOG has that I'm interested in and Steam has a whole lot more games than GOG. Also, GOG is almost always behind Steam in getting the games so I usually have them already when they come to GOG. I do have a lot of the same games from both of them though also as I try to support GOG, but since I no longer work, I cannot really afford to buy games on GOG that I already have from Steam.

My reasons for permanently abandoning Steam years ago have been posted here more than once in the past so I won’t repeat them

And I, too, now have most “existing” games from GOG that I would want but I go to them first for any new releases I fancy and that they might not be the first to offer them doesn’t matter to me in the least
