Good morning Connie, Draclvr, Gerry, TaintedFury downunder and all who pop in later today for a break. Gerry, I brought a pot of dark roast Sulawesi Toraja Coffee. Draclvr, I love warming up by the fire ... especially when you're chilled ... it is simply marvelous and so relaxing / mesmerizing. Connie I'm going with cinnamon crunch bagels this morning...stay safe shopping. Hope you have splendid weather days TaintedFury, understanding the weather will bring what it brings. Have a splendid Sunday everyone!

Not sure what that is... Fogfighter Gerry Asahi is the brand. And suupaa dorai biiru is how the Japanse write the words 'Super dry beer', in their own alphabeth. I'm sure I mis-interpreted a few things. Any Japanese boomers, feel free to correct me . But I think I got the major points right It certainly tastes like beer. A good beer.

Good morning Connie, OldBroad, FogFighter and Gerry. Nicaraguan Coffee, Scottish Breakfast tea and bottled Fiji water in the Break Room. Hello FogFighter, is there any ス-パ- ドライ アサヒ ビ-ル left? I'd like to try one. Connie, have fun bowling tonight. Have a great day everyone!

A school tour at Longmeadow Rescue this morning. I love doing the tours for the little kids and although it's chilly this morning, it's sunny and not COLD like it was Saturday! I'll take it.
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Have a good day everyone! After the Japanese beer exchanges, this may be an apt exercise: Reading Challenge All the years I spent in school learning to spell..... and now discover it was not necessary or even useful! Teachers should have no problem reading this one! Here's another trick of Doctor Dementia to test your skills... Can you meet this challenge? We've seen this with the letters out of order, but this is the first time we've seen it using numbers. Good example of a Brain Study: If you can read this out loud you have a strong mind. And better than that: Alzheimer's is a long long, way down the road before it ever gets anywhere near you. 7H15 M3554G3 53RV35 7O PR0V3 H0W 0UR M1ND5 C4N D0 4M4Z1NG 7H1NG5! 1MPR3551V3 7H1NG5! 1N 7H3 B3G1NN1NG 17 WA5 H4RD BU7 N0W, 0N 7H15 LIN3 Y0UR M1ND 1S R34D1NG 17 4U70M471C4LLY W17H0U7 3V3N 7H1NK1NG 4B0U7 17, B3 PROUD! 0NLY C3R741N P30PL3 C4N R3AD 7H15! Only great minds can read this. This is weird, but interesting! If you can raed this, you have a sgtrane mnid, too. Can you raed this? Olny 55 people out of 100 can. I cdnuolt blveiee that I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd what I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in what oerdr the ltteres in a word are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is that the frsit and last ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can still raed it whotuit a pboerlm. This is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the word as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? Yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt!

Good ones, Lex! Tour at the horse rescue was fun as always although this age group is my least favorite - 6 year olds with 2 minute attention spans and complaining about walking and being hungry. We try our best to hold their attention and change up our information to appeal to them, but they are kind of like herding cats! On most of these end-of-the- year field trips we get as many parents as students. I think next week both of the tours are for 7 and 8 year olds and they are much easier as their curiosity is high.
Another chilly, but sunny day with... no wind! Already picked about a pound of asparagus and am heading out to finish up my weeding. Have a local high school student coming to spread mulch for me.
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

TaintedFury, we did and hope you did too. Gerry, I'll have a double dark brew Sumatra and will be back for a biru this afternoon. Connie, I'm up for donuts today. I concur FogFighter, some old habits are good...spelling is one. Yes, Draclvr I can well imagine it was exactly like herding cats. Have a wonderful Hump Day everyone.
